I can't believe Hee-joo even put on the dress after she knew darn well that there isn't going to be an engagement between her and Ki-joon. It's a nice dress though. She could hang onto the dress though...if she will get married later...to whoever would want to marry her. Hee-joo had no energy in her, but I found the whole Hee-joo wearing her engagement dress and crying over bad memories to be annoying rather than sad. I'm losing my sympathy for Hee-joo and becoming more and more annoyed with her.

Has anybody explained the meaning of the word "STALKER" to Hee-Joo? Or perhaps "PSYCHOTIC?" That she can just show up, follow, crash cars, slap people or pour water on them with no repercussion is beyond me. How much must her parents care about the little 'princess' to accept that behavior?! I mean it's not like she is supporting herself - Daddy has the purse strings. What? pour water, slap people, follow??? What ?/someone really needs to tell me what was going on

Oh, let's see: Hee-joo has slapped In-young and thrown a glass of water on her, slapped Ki-joon, followed him in her car and crashed it into the back of his taxi, and screamed at both of them many times. Oh, and she started to strip once by the Han River (she only got as far as taking off her jacket, lol, and I don't think she would have gone much farther) to make him see that she was a woman, not a little girl.
Does anyone have anything to add?

In tonight's episode, this "spoiled brat" told Ki-joon, who stupidly took her to a restaurant, that she'll do everything to prevent his happiness if he marries In-young. She irritates me to no end. Ki-joon is a "wuss" with these women in his life. He should tell his mother that she's out of the picture once he marries In-young, and tell Hee-joo that he'll put a restraining order on her if she tries to destroy his marriage. I mean, be a man, Ki-joon!

I laughed when Sunmi told her he wasn't a mama's boy. I'm sure she meant he wasn't that much of a mama's boy (which is still off).

I am SO disliking Hee-Joo right now. And SM? I was actually thinking of stopping viewing for a bit but then realized that SM at least has humor value I look forward to her 'spells' and yell nasty things at her while watching ( ;D of course, no one is home when I do this!). Someone previously mentioned restraining orders - I think both of these people need them, However, Hee-Joo is not just malicious like SM, the writers have her being downright dangerous! Who is to say she doesn't send Ki-Joon or In-Young or family something harmful or poisonous? She's not above running into him with 2000 pounds of metal! What could be next? LizLib

Ki-joon is a Mama's boy who is afraid to disappoint her. I don't know why he just didn't tell Hee-joo that there will be no engagement, but it was kind of expected that they should eventually marry. Well, Koreans are very respectful to their elders. They will be a spoiled brat if they talk against them so i don't really see how it's ki-joon's fault that he doesn't talk back to his mom.

Yes, Hee-joo is bad like The Phoenix's Mi-ran. When Hee-joo crashed her car into Ki-joon's...that thought popped into my head. Hee-joo is so devious...she's willing to go thru extremes to get the man she wants. But Mi-ran is still more wicked (the walking on broken glass thing was just too much).

about the broken glass: i kind of liked it because it added lots of craziness to mi-ran's character and i think the writers of MS tried to duplicate mi-ran when creating hee-joo... but i still would pick mi-ran over hee-joo... maybe cause i liked the character of jae-hee from To Be With You.

Mi-ran of Phoenix aka Jae-hee of To Be With You plays evil so well. I think with Hee-joo, she plays crazy real well. Her expressions are crazy/silly, but her inner thoughts are spooky. You know she's being devious but smiles like nothing's going on in that head of hers. At least with Mi-ran you knew she would be evil. But with Hee-joo, she just smiles her cute smile and curses through her teeth that she'll make Ki-joon miserable if he marries In-young. I don't even know why Ki-joon would give her the time of day. He must be glutton for punishment. But on another note, Ki-joon should understand why Hee-joo is feeling the way she is. Because just a while ago, he was in that same rut that she's in now. Only thing is, her determination for making Ki-joon suffer is keeping her juices flowing, whereas Ki-joon needed his mother's approval for marriage before he came back to life. ;D ;D GO FIGURE!! MS. BACKBONE VS. MR. SPINELESS?? How's that for several episodes!

he is... he just backs down after his mom starts yelling at him for even thinking of moving out. But, at the same time, it took courage to stand up to that woman long enough to hear her scream! and hee-joo's nerve to even keep visiting the Kim household. i like ok-ja. she's starting to stand up to hee-joo and to her sister.

Yes BAE, i'm really liking ok-ja. She seems to be the only sane one in the household. At least she has some respect and decency compared to her high-strung sister. I think without her in the home, that household will be one big looney bin.
A mother who is screaming at the top of her lungs her wants, but falling on deaf ears, a spoiled daughter who wants an expensive car on the day she receives her license, and a son who can't seem to get his mother to stop interferring with his engagment plans.
