...last evening's previews were very sad. the coffin being placed in the hearse... you know, I don't think BansheeMom will have to worry about her son's wedding.
I'm thinking that Jae-min will call In Young to let her know of his wife's death... and from there the story will turn. Not drastically, and not quickly.... but in a baby-step manner.
I'm not convinced that In Young really believes that this marriage is a healthy step. I like her friend beaing able to level with her.

I missed the end of the episode so didn't see the coffin. Can anyone fill me in on the last few minutes? I saw Grandpa tell everyone he's going to teach kids, the young couple went to the store and In-young asked about the cheapest and most expensive watches, and that's all I can remember, but I know there were only a couple of minutes left that I didn't tape.

You only missed about 3 minutes, but important stuff happened. Inyoung's little sister is walking into her house but then she hears BansheeMom talking in her usually loudmouth ways to her Aunt about how Inyoung's family has a lot of flaws like having an illegitimate child as part of their family. Then the aunt says that if she was going to keep finding flaws with them she should have opposed the marriage till the end. Of course the half-witted mom says that she couldn't do that to her son but that she just wants the aunt to acknowledge that the youngest child is illegitimate. Little sister hears this and is crying. that's where that episode ended. Previews show Jaemin's wife's coffin being put into the hearse like someone already mentioned and poor Jaemin sobbing.

Oh my LORD, that poor little girl! Having to hear it from Banshee Mom is the worst! I really like little In-kyung (is that the right name?), even though to me she looks like a 20-year-old actress playing a teenager. She is a sweet little sister and doesn't deserve to be hurt. Too bad she had to find out that way.

Too bad she had to find out that way. In-kyung is my second favorite female character, right after Sun-mi. She's so bubbly, and she loves her grandpa so much. She's going to feel horrible now that she knows. That funeral preview made me love Jae-min even more! Poor thing, crying "Yobo!" after his wife's coffin. We probably won't see it for a few days because of the way My Sweetheart gives teasers from eppys a million episodes into the future. How many times have they previewed IY in a wedding dress?

Yeah, even me at my age ....well, that's what dreams are for LOL- I really don't see that much love emanating from In young to Ki joon .. and his seems more obsessive than true love .. just my pov ... but she is from such a warm and loving family no way will she be able to survive with that Screeching Mama ... why In young would even consider living in the same house is beyond me ... but then this is a K-drama after all and we have to have an EVIL MIL - it's part of the formula LOL ...

It was so sad when Jae-min followed his wife's casket to the crematorium. The doors of a vault were opened, her casket placed inside, then a valve was ignited. Jae-min returned home to hold his son, then vent his grief.
It would be very interesting if Jae-min and In-young met because maybe she'll see a very kind, caring man who needs the comfort and attention that she is capable of giving. It just irritates me when Ki-joon tries to reason with his impossible mother, then even takes Hee-joo, a calculating, cunning woman, to a restaurant.
Banshee Mom is so evil to bring up the illegitimacy of In-kyung. Poor In-kyung stays out late, saying that she went to a movie. I was kind of surprised how her Aunt slapped her around. In-kyung, inorder to find out more about her illegitimacy, goes to Banshee's house. This evil woman will do everything in her power to destroy a family that she knew years ago.

It would really be an interesting plot if Jae-min meets up with In-young before she marries Ki-joon and starts to develop a relationship. Maybe he can prevent In-young from being sent to the slaughter house (aka Ki-joon's home) with evil SM. I think Jae-min's character is better matched with In-young than Ki-joon. He (Ki-joon) and his mother just irritates me to the max. One spineless an the other vicious.

WHAT! Sandy, where are you? As far as I know, she hasn't died yet! Did my tape end too early? Way early, Lucy! Poor Yoonhee is even tucked away in a masoleum now. It was a really sad couple of scenes and I was a little disappointed they didn't put more emphasis on it, instead we had to see loser Kijoon and Inyoung trying on their wedding outfits.

GC, I think I got confused because my air-conditioning man came in the middle of my evening's viewing. I believe I still have the rest of the Sweetheart eppie to watch, having put it aside when he came and then turned on Alley Cat. Phew!
