Before the daytime rebroadcast of the first Yi Soon-shin special, there was a "Variety Talk Show", and Lee Tae-ran was the guest. No subtitles, unfortunately.
There was a brief scene of her in a recording studio, singing (a slow song), and a few scene of her modeling at a photo shoot.
Most of the show she was answering questions from the two hosts. When she laughs, she really looks like Lee Ha-na.

Yes, they said something about an OST on the screen. For some reason, that and "NG" are never Hangul-ized.

I remember I saw something about this show, it looks pretty interesting because Choi Jin-shil's character was constantly kicking Son Hyun-ju's character around and another part showed them taping a scene where Choi Jin-shil slaps Lee Tae-ran's character and after the director yells 'cut', she immediately goes to Lee Tae-ran and checks up on her because it was such a HARD slap.

I guess you could call it the K-Drama version of "American Beauty". I just don't understand why it is that when someone gets sick it's always cancer.

Son Hyun-ju (the errant husband of the main character) is the actor who played Min-ki on To Be With You, isn't he? The hapless brother who marries a girl who's really too young?

He was also the older priest in 'Love Letter'.

Remember a couple of months ago when Hana was trying to blackmail her mother into letting her marry Sangsik, and she told her that if she didn't give permission, Hana would go be a singer in a karaoke bar (which apparently is a kind of disreputable occupation). She wouldn't talk to her but only sang songs into the phone whenever her mom called. Anyway, I remember remarking at the time that Lee Tae-ran has a wonderful voice.

I loved that bit. Mostly because she does have a gorgeous voice, and I loved how she sang the old songs. She managed to make them sound very good, not so whiney and warbley (as many of the older lady singers sound to my western ears). I wished I could find a recording of someone like HER singing traditional Korean songs.

Soju, Lee Tae-ran is on the OST for Who's My Love? or the other show you're talking about? I think it must be for the new show, but I just wanted to check.

Yes, but is she singing traditional Korean songs or those icky modern ones? (Sorry. They are, to me.)
