I can't believe none of us mentioned how Jiyeun and Hoonsik were so disappointed when they found out she wasn't pregnant.
Also, what was up with Sangsik's hissy fit when he found out Hana had accepted a gift from Hosup. That was before she even met him.

Yeah, I'm getting tired of Sang-sik's little hissy fits, I hate how he keeps telling Hana to just stay home and read a book or something, like he's trying to control her and he knows what kind of a person she is...ugh, this guy, he's a such...I dunno...a Rented Wheat Bag!!!

LOL! Great use of the term, ovaridedis. ;D I did feel sorry for JY and YS. They had built it up so much, you just knew they were going to be disappointed. What's wonderful about them is that they quickly shook it off. That's one thing they have in common; they are practical and sensible now about emotional things, since their big fight when they worked out how to have a fight without going nuts. They make good partners. I would like to see a little more romance and tenderness between them, like when they were first married, but I suppose we're meant to assume they still feel that way, based on the occasional hug or brief cuddle. Oh, Sangsik. I know his persnickety personality is meant to be kind of funny in how it rubs up against Hana's, but in reality, a guy like that is in fact a control freak. He obviously thinks he's better than she is! In no way is he accepting her for who she is. He just can't help being strongly attracted to her against what he thinks is his better judgment, and he is so incredibly rude to keep letting her know that. I am delighted by the pronouncements of the two fortune tellers who told Grandma and Aunt that she is WAY too good for him and his family. I hope that fact comes out and everyone gets a little humility about accepting the original, freaky, personality-plus star that is Hana into their family.

I know, it was funny how they keep saying how much of a waste it is that she will go into Sangsik's family. Ha, take that greater than though grandma!

I am new here. I started watching WML because I can't afford cable (grad student), and KBS is free, minus the cost of some bunny ears. Anyhoot, Sangsik gets on my nerves. He is boring and thinks he is all that with his pastel colored collared shirts. Give me a break.

Yeah, I think he's the least favorite character for me in this show, I use to hate him and Younger Grandma, but once she accepted Cha as part of the family, she was cool afterwards, but Sang-sik never changed since the beginning of the show, he's an ass

You better not let Hana hear you say that. He's just been babied so much that I think it's kind of natural for him to act that way.

Can't you just imagine Hana ripping out the throat of anyone who dares to criticize Sangsik? She is like a lioness with that one. Except, she gets to criticize him sometimes in order to shame him into behaving.

oh, please. All that talk and she probably has no bite. If she had two brain cells to rub together, she would take all her purses and heels and get the hell out of that house before Sangsik bores her to tears. All that studying and he still doesn't know that wearing all beige washes out the luster of the skin. And will Old Grandma please stop wearing forest green?!!!
But since the OG (Old Grandma) approved the marriage, it's her funeral...I mean, wedding.

She is not big on brainpower--her strong suits are her energy, personality, and resilience (she's going to need that thick hide once she marries him), plus she has a very caring heart--but I believe her when she acts tough. I think she is capable of almost anything. Look how she jumped into the fight when that guy who got Cho-hee preggers fought Sangsik. She's a wild thing.

Yeah, she's demonstrated on more than one occassion that she's willing to do anything for Sangsik. She's not the most practical or rational person in the world but she's not stupid either.

I really liked the scene where Sangsik and Hana go visit Sangsik's mom's grave. They have really excellent writers for this series, I liked in particular when Hana is promising to Sangsik "Cry, cry all you want, you don't need to feel embarassed. I will fill up all that your mother couldn't do for you. I will do good to you." She really, really loves him. Sangsik is able to show his most vulnerable side to her. And how sweet was it when she was singing that lullaby to him?
Two observations:
1) How cute was Hana's school girl outfit, complete w/red bow tie! 2) Sangsik: Fashion Victim. White socks w/a suit?

I really liked the scene where Sangsik and Hana go visit Sangsik's mom's grave.... Either I'm not that far or all they showed was the two of them at the grave, nothing happening (cut for morning broadcast). No, I think I just am not that far and the scene at the grave was something I saw while adjusting the tape. I hope. Bo

It was the ending scene for ep. 70 so you must not be that far ahead.

Episode 71 was hilarious,
Yoonsik once again awakens the wrath of Jiyeun by telling Grandma of her "maybe" pregnancy. Now Grandma thinks that Jiyeun had a miscarriage. Funny lines in this episode
Yoonsik: "How can I....love you more?"
Jiyeun: "I know! Sometimes I'm just so tired but I still lie there"
Grandma: "Does your husband....I mean....does he touch you often? Come on it's only Grandma."
