Also, he was the second in command to Lee Seo Jin in Damo (See-hoon in Phoenix). On second thought, maybe it isn't him.

...OK, it's coming back; he was the guy at the architectural firm who she pretended to Sanghyuk was the boss of the firm (before the jealous SH found out it was the Minhyung lookalike). ? Yeah, I remember that. Didn't Sang-hyuk try to punch him out or something? SH was pretty irate with him, I think, because the stuff she was telling SH made his (the friend's) conversation sound like he was a true jerk. I guess I just think this guy is SO distinctive, I can't see anyone not remembering him. He doesn't look or sound like any of the other boys on the soaps; to me, it's like forgetting the guy who plays Cha. Bo

He was also in (at least the promo of) 'Super Rookie', as well as 'Nine-tailed Fox' (which we didn't see here).

You know, when i was looking for that picture, I had to wade through several pages of thumbnails of "Romantic Lead"-type actors and actresses til I got to it.
I wonder if the Korean TV networks know how popular those veteran actors are over here?

That's a good question. One of the things I love about the Korean dramas is the variety of people, and the span of ages. You would not see a show in the US centered around the activities of a group of oldies, but I've seen several Korean examples. WML gives over at least half, if not more, of the attention to the elderlies and they are darned interesting. The shows that center around young people, such as Phoenix and Damo, seem a little hollow in many ways to me, they just don't seem as rounded, as complete.

There was "Golden Girls", and not much else.
