Oh, Colette, you are funny. You only get to post periodically, I think, or you would have noticed that Kathleen had the EXACT SAME EPIPHANY some time ago. LOL. I'll bet we see this same post a few more times from others.
I remember when I first saw her on DJG, it took me the longest time to figure out where I'd seen her before, because she looked so different. I was sitting there and I started yelling, "It's Grandma! It's Grandma!" Fortunately, Bob was used to such demented K-drama scenes by then, LOL.

oh dear Catalpa .. Bo is so on target. But I saw DJG before I saw WML. Then once I was enjoying my DVDs of DJG and it dawned on me as I watched Lady Jung very carefully. A true TaDa moment! then yet another revelation: Sir Min and Woojin being the same actor. that's another reason why I love these dramas... you get so enjoy the acting skills of all the players. such opposite roles... the historic / contemporary - just the best

Yes, I just realized (maybe for the second or third time I don't remember LOL), that Goeun's dad is a high court minister on YSS. He's got a beard and he's a nice guy there, though, so that's why I couldn't tell... Bo

I just saw Grandma - on Ch. 28, just before 4 pm, on an entertainment news show, in a segment about a fashion show. She had longer black curled hair and looked so much younger. Didn't see if she modeled, darn, I was typing, but the 2, also older, women next to her did a turn on the runway.

I saw something on a Korean entertainment show (think of it as Korea's Access Hollywood or Entertainment Tonight) where she and Kyun Mi-Ri were both running the walkway, sometimes, Korean celebrities would model in fashion shows.

I see her occasionally on shows and she's always got dark hair, but when I see her in a drama (except DJG), she's always got grey hair.
Wonder which is for "true"--LOL.

Here she is with dark hair, in "My Name Is Kim Sam-soon", along with a younger veteran, Kwon Hae-hyo.

Thanks, Soju! Where do I know that guy from? I think he played someone's friend (like the Mr. Noh role in "My Sweetheart") in one of the dramas, didn't he? Or maybe a business colleague of a main character. She looks funny there with her dark pageboy and suit, when we almost always see her in WML with her puffy Grandma hair, pink glasses (what's up with that, BTW?), and house slippers. Quite a change!

HEY!!! In-Young's Gpa on My Sweethart is the Gpa in WML??? www.koreanwiz.org/at/actors84.htmlThat pic of G'ma/Lady Jung in the pageboy is like Ugh. Those glasses do NOT flatter her! I always thought the pink glasses were representative of the character's wanting to see the world thorugh rose-tinted glasses but nothing ever living up to her ideals. (Yeah, I'm a little nuts.) Am I just really slow on the uptake or what? My head is spinning.

Your prize is in the mail along w/KBC's other raffle prizes. LOL! Yeah, where's my special tea set or whatever it was I felt sure I was going to win? BTW, at the street fair this year, they were giving away blue and red Korean fans at the Korean Air tent, and I asked if those were the same ones from the KBC "raffle contest." They told me they were, mwahaha. So I don't need stupid ol' Channel 28's raffle prizes. Bo, thank you. I still don't remember him, though. That's probably because these "best friends" are pretty disposable characters who are transparently there just to help the main action along. OK, it's coming back; he was the guy at the architectural firm who she pretended to Sanghyuk was the boss of the firm (before the jealous SH found out it was the Minhyung lookalike). ?
