First off, why did stupid Hana insist on driving them to the acupuncturist? The car they had would have been fine. And why was the luggage in Hana's car to begin with? That makes no sense to me. I'd have told her to bug off (politely). I guess it WAS >that< awkward on their wedding night, but who'd have thought Yoon-sook would have a sprained ankle on top of all the pressure? I'm surprised they showed him pulling down the spaghetti strap of Jiyeun's negligee and baring her shoulder like that. I hope the second attempt was more successful! And what about everyone searching for sexy G'ma in a bathing suit and she was in the pool playing and whooping it up all alone? LOL

LOL Yeah I hope it was successful for him, although, it was one of his jumping at her moments, the guy really needs to learn some self control. I believe the last 30 seconds of the show with G'ma was dedicated to me ;D

Hyunsik's face when he was disrobing Jiyuen has got to be one of the most hilarious scenes in this drama. Also, I liked how he tried to put on his brave face when he was limping along w/Jiyuen.
I think Hana took them to the acupuncturist because she already knew where it was. If they had taken the driver then I guess it would've taken longer.
I find it interesting that they show Grandmas with only a bathing suit and yet they make Goeun wear swimming trunks on top of her bathing suit.

I loved this episode. Yoonsik's attacks on Ji-yeun were awful--what an introduction to "married life" ! The strap-lowering was hilarious--as the camera moved away, did you all notice him turning his face and screwing his eyes shut, like, "NO! I can't stand to look!" What was that about? It was sweet that he wrote that letter to her Mom. I didn't know what would be in it, but it's cute that he wants to be like her real son. Poor kid never got over losing his own mom. I laughed out loud several times at the Grandma scenes; it was well edited to skip right from that line, "maybe they've seen a saggy old lady [paraphrasing] walking around," to Grandma laughing with all the fun and happiness and careening down the water slide. And the scene between Goeun and Hyunsik, where she said the Grandmas (can't remember if it was Older or Younger) were sexy and he said approvingly that his grandma had a "great body." These people have such family pride, it even extends to the sexiness and bodaciousness of their elderly female relatives. I did not notice Goeun wearing a double bathing suit; in fact, I didn't really get a look at the ladies' bodies and had to take G and HS's word for it. Sangsik is getting cuter now that he's well and truly falling into the clutches of our dear Lee Tae Ran. He can't help himself! I guess that's why they call it the Tender Trap. I love her semi-brain-damaged mannerisms, like when she walks around the apartment snacking and giggling to herself like a mental patient. (I say that affectionately and with all due respect to mental patients.) Her joy at just being herself and getting a kick out of life are great to see. Do y'all think that Goeun is pregnant? Or is it maybe that she's really going to come down with a bad illness? Everyone has been saying since day one that she is weak and skinny and with the frequent talk of the deceased mother, I wonder if we're being set up for a sad subplot.

Yeah, like it was too much for him to handle. Nobody said anything. Their facial expressions said it all. It was the first time for both of them, and even though they have booksmarts, nothing could have prepared them for this. Jiyuen looked so nervous. She was biting her nails, something she never does. It was sweet that he wrote that letter to her Mom. I didn't know what would be in it, but it's cute that he wants to be like her real son. Poor kid never got over losing his own mom. I think that in the re-run they show the mom reading the letter and it just says something about him being so grateful that he gave birth to Jiyuen because she is now his wife. He promises that he will love her and take care of her and that he wants to get along w/her. I'm remembering this from the first time I watched it, but I think that's it. I think he'll make a good son in law because he will look forward to taking care of his MIL just as it if were his own mom.

I hope we're just supposed to worry a little. A new baby would be really hard on her, since Joon is so little. I sort of want Jiyeun to have a baby first, anyway. (It -could- happen, if Yoonsik calms down so he doesn't have to apologize afterward.)

Oh, yeah! I forgot to post that about Geoen ... Hey, if she's feeling "weak" and lost her apetite, doesn't that almost always mean pregnancy or serious illness in dramas like this?

I was disappointed that we didn't see Yoonsik and Jiyeun's homecoming. I always like seeing the formal bows and the words of advice from the elders.
I often have the feeling that the episodes have been edited, especially at the beginning of each episode, because there is usually no transition and it seems scenes have been left out. Examples: when YS and JY got married last week, we saw the beginning of the wedding but then the next episode started after the wedding was over and much time was spent discussing things that we didn't see. And in this last episode (48?), all of a sudden the newlyweds are home and starting back in with their regular work, and we have no sense of the end of their honeymoon and return home.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention all that talk about the karaoke that had happened but we didn't see (did we?). We saw later that Goeun was upset with Hyun-sik, but we never saw the stuff they were talking about.
I do see that Yoonsik has become a more polished lover; he approached Jiyeun for a kiss very softly the other day instead of jumping at her. And it was cute and rather shocking when he opened his robe to enclose her. I imagine that we are supposed to assume he had underwear on.

Yes, it does seem like scenes are missing ... sometimes things in the previews are not in the next episode. *sigh*I was waiting to see what happened with Hannah, Sangsik and the tomato!!! I missed the show on Fri. night, so on today's rerun I kept expecting to the karaoke scene that Goen was scolding Hyunsik about, but it was not shown (whether or not it exists, I can't say).
Yoonsik seems almost handsome now that he's becoming more confident after being married. It's like his face has changed with his newfound sense of self-worth. And even though I don't find him attractive, that was a very nice scene with the bathrobe.

Well, if Episode 47 is missing, as noted in another thread, then it might explain some of the disconnection that you all feel. I noticed that a whole bunch of stuff was shown (like Ji-yeun's grandma being sent home) in one airing of the post-wedding episode, but not the other. (I can't remember which--they both came in terrible).
I seem to recall that the Yoon-to-Mom letter was read in a scene the last time I saw this, so yes, there is a lot of editing going on. I know it would be prohibitively expensive, but I sometimes wish I could see the whole show on DVD.
