Seems this board has been kinda slow. These were some interesting moments. Hyunsik doesn't like being told he's handsome because then he thinks people are saying he's dumb. Aigu! That boy just can't take a compliment, either way he is fine. I don't know about you all, but Goeun's wedding dress was nice, so why are they telling Jieun to get a simple wedding dress so she won't feel bad. That whole Hana/Sangsik/Chohee thing was interesting. It was funny when Sangsik accidentally "touched" Hana and her response was "I'm electrified!"

I'm a little miffed on Ji-yeun's behalf that she has to make so many concessions to match Goeun's restricted spending. True, she shouldn't contribute a whole lot more to the house than Goeun could, but the other stuff about having a nice wedding or giving clothes to the family, well, I think they're being a little unfair. These are gifts, people--it should be up to the giver, no? And a bride should have the wedding the way she wants it. OK, I know JY doesn't want a fancy wedding anyway, but I think they are overdoing it trying to keep Goeun from feeling bad. Facts are facts: Goeun's family has no money, Ji-yeun's family has money. Two different DILs, two different weddings. Goeun should suck it up. and anyway, it sounds like she's prepared to at any rate! About Hanna and Sang-sik, she is really cracking me up lately. That "electrified!!" comment was hilarious, and when she imitated the hypothetically dead Cho-hee haunting him, I about died. "Suuunnn-baaaae! Suu-nn-bae!" with the hair over her face like that creature in "The Ring"--too much! Like any ghost is going to address the hauntee by his honorific title rather than his actual name.

Forgot to mention, now that I have the opportunity: what is going on with Yoon-sik? All of a sudden his family matters more than what Ji-yeun says or wants? And he's asking her to grow her hair long? What about the whole, "Ji-ji-ji-ji-yeun-ssi, would you go out with me?" and being so afraid he'll say something to put her off? Now he wants to put the pants on and wear 'em? And they say women change once they've bagged the guy and can let their real selves show.

LOL! That's true, I guess he takes charge when he has to. But you are so right, they can't possibly have the same kind of wedding because their circumstances are different, and while they are watching out for Goeun's feelings, they are making Jieun feel like she's second best.
Oh yeah that Hana is crazy. Sunbae!--I didn't even notice it, I guess even ghosts have to address a senior by honorifics.
I felt so bad for poor Cafe Aunt, she had no one but Goeun to go to the movies with. Although how funny was it when the Mysterious Cafe Guy started yelling. It look like he's caught her eye.

I think he's caught her eye but she's disturbed by his temper. It was a little sad when she spoke to him at the movie and he only said a few words to her, then went back to his paper. But at least he started yelling at someone right after that so she didn't have to slink back to her seat in a walk of shame, and she got a little floorshow into the bargain.

JiYeun is buying some pretty expensive things for the family-Goeun didn't do that, yet no one seems upset, yet. A big refrigerator and a stove, and a table for 10, whew $2500-2700? Then a bed-where are they going to put it, don't JiYeun and Hanna share the bedroom?

It's been a long while since I first saw this series but I do believe there are 2 bedrooms ... I sincerely doubt that Hana would be able to stay with the newlyweds if there was only 1 bedroom. Her staying there has already created many raised eyebrows .. can you imagine what the elders would have to say if there was only 1 bedroom? There are at least 2 bedrooms in some of the other apts also.

i havent been keeping up with every episode of WML but I saw tonight's episode. Hanna said she went to tell Cho-Hee that she should leave SAnsik alone because Sansik is hers. He didn't seem to argue with Hanna on that. Are they really together or did he just kind of give up arguing with Hanna saying that he's not hers? thanks

Yeah, I noticed that, too, but I figured he's been hearing her say that from day one and just takes it for granted that she thinks she owns him. Not worth it to him to argue at the moment.

And his defenses start to break down ... soon he will accept that he is hers and then she will be halfway to marriage. A clever, if evil, tactic.

How embarrassing was it when she said if she could ask him a question and he said that he'd rather not answer anything personal. Aigu! My face would have exploded because of how red hot w/shame it would be. She definitely has a crush on him, I think. But looks like her sister is trying to get Cha to set her up w/one of his buddies.

It's sad because he so obviously has no interest in her. There must be a reason why. She's so pretty and nice. In real life, he wouldn't need a reason, but in a drama there must be something specific, right?

There must be a reason why. She's so pretty and nice. I know, she's the nicest person in this drama. I hope that he realizes this and changes his very cold attitude. And I know everybody says that he has blondish hair (i.e. Sangsik's comment about his being too old to have his hair dyed) but I think it looks more gray than blond.

Then a bed-where are they going to put it, don't JiYeun and Hanna share the bedroom? Hi, guys, sorry, I've been sick for a few days, so I'm jumping in late. I think they don't think it's bad for Ji-eun to bring so much because she'd be kind of a cheapie if she didn't bring anything. She's in much better financial position than Go-eun's family, after all. Also, the wedding is a public display, where the fridge etc are private things that only those at home will know about. And I believe it is customary for the bride to bring the bedroom furniture. I seem to recall when Hanna first demanded to stay in their apartment, she tried to bogart the big bedroom, but Unni was having none of that. The implication being, there was also a smaller room available. Finally, I think part of Ji-eun not wanting to have a "big" wedding is that she thinks it is a waste of money. Don't you remember how she yelled at Yoon-sik for buying her flowers? She seems to feel some things are worth spending money on, like furnishings, while more ephemeral stuff, like flowers and wedding dresses, is not. And there's a great deal of sense to that. Bo
