Didn't she look great? It seemed to me that before she reunited with her old flame, Cha, her clothes appeared non-descript and without flare. I loved those colors on her in this scene--her sister looked great, too. It's like they both have a new lease on life!

BD, do you mean Park Kyung-hwa (older aunt), or Park Kyung-ju (younger)? I have not yet seen this episode. Are you in Chicago?

I loved those colors on her in this scene--her sister looked great, too. It's like they both have a new lease on life! Ah, elder aunt--how stupid of me, I should have told from the context. Again, I have not seen it yet; I'm sure I'll agree with you when I get there because I always do seem to see things the same way you do, LOL. But, it seems to me that the younger aunt, Kyung-ju, always had a perkier personality. She subsumed it somewhat around her mother, but I noticed she never had any problem telling her opinion in other situations, and in a bright, intelligent manner. Geez, I make her sound like a forward second grader-hah! However, I think I've noted elsewhere that these two sisters reminded me of a 17-year-old and her younger, cheekier, 14-year-old sister in their dealings with their mom. I like them. Bo

I liked that scene, because I found out that Kyung-ju's cell phone ringtone is the same as mine! The Bubble Bobble song. :D

Yes, they did look lovely. Kyung-hwa had on a peachy-apricot sweater set, and Kyung-ju had on something pink. They looked nice together and seemed pretty pleased to be out shopping together. Afterward, KH had a nice little wifely phone conversation about the dishes with her fiance. I guess they threw those scenes in so we wouldn't be wondering what was going on with them while we were being bombarded with Goeun updates.
