I wish with all that i am that "WML"was not ending it's run next weekend.i have to say that I enjoyed it a lot more this time than I did the last. of all the k-dramas i have whatched over the years, this is the only one that you could say that these people exist somewhere.it is IMO the best written and well show we have seen from korea in chicago.the scene when jiyeun told yoonsik she was pregnant brought tears to my eyes.I will really miss this show a lot.

Yeah, me too! This show is so believeable, the characters so likeable. Everything is so homey because that's what the series is about--home, family, and finding love and acceptance within it. Sometimes I feel like I never leave my kitchen with all the cooking and work and I found myself thinking of Goeun and the others as I was preparing the Thanksgiving Day foods. There is a sisterhood here for all women!

Me, too. There's a drama on now, with the gavel at the start, that's on episode 313. Seeing 84 episodes isn't enough. I'd like to see the babies, and Sumi, and the rest of their lives. I guess we have to imagine the sequels. Or write them. The alternate history series I've been reading (1632/Ring of Fire) has chapters written by fans, in short story collections. Do we have any writers out there?

The show with the ring and gavel is called "Love and War." I think it is a show like "Drama City", where each episode stands on its own, rather than a continuing drama. I too wish WML ran for hundreds of episodes, or "WML: The Next Generation."

. . . I too wish WML ran for hundreds of episodes, or "WML: The Next Generation." I think this show is one of the absolute best ones I have seen. It seems to cover so many topics - gender, generations, culture, customs, class, etc. and it does it so well. It is a show filled with love and respect and I think the writers should be praised for giving us such a wonderful story. It also has humor - and shows the human range of emotions in a true fashion. These people are so BELIEVABLE .. you feel like you could meet them at the market, restaurant, etc. they just seem for real. What a contrast between this show and MSMD with its really stupid ending. I am watching this for the second time and I would not mind seeing it for a third etc because I am seeing things I did not notice before. I will be sad to have it end.

Aigu! Aigu! Lucy is killing me, with her hard assessment of Cha. He turns out to be so funny, sweet and wonderful, and just the guy Kyung-hwa needs (not to mention her mother and sister). It's all I can do to keep from jumping to his defense, LOL. (Just blowing off steam.) Bo I felt the same way when she was talking about the movie director. I wanted to say it all then. They are going to have a very quiet courtship, they end up engaged etc. I didn't see these first couple of episodes but he does come off like that at first impression I guess. Maybe she has a Cha in her life and that's why she's so hard on him. ;D Wow, you guys, good thing I don't read spoilers while the show is on. Did you never hear of people having their own opinions? I remember why I didn't like Cha, and I don't think I was too hard on him, given that the only things we knew about him at the time were how he had treated Aunt in the past and how he was treating her at the time of the show. Remember that you had already seen this program and knew how it turned out, but that I couldn't have known he was going to turn out to be a fun and good man. It's a weird feeling to be talked about behind your back online! Maybe you could PM each other in future about me. At least then other people wouldn't have to read it.

Oh, Lucy, I'm sorry. It was just you were so ANNOYED with him and I couldn't let you know directly that he really was great, and I figured you'd come here later and see that and know I restrained myself from spoiling it for you, and I think I noted that it's because I saw the show already and you didn't. But you're right, next time I'll say, "CERTAIN PEOPLE are driving me crazy because of blah..." instead of using a particular person's name. Please forgive me. I wasn't trying to be mean, but I guess I was. Bo

I get what you're saying, Bo. I could have used less "shaming" language but I wanted to make my point. I understand that the spoiler thread was like a little club where you were almost talking privately, but I have this sore point about being talked about behind my back and I think I overreacted. 'Specially because other people could read this and see what you thought of my half-assed opinions. Of course I forgive you!
