I do not think the OST is sold alone. You may have to buy the secondary mini boxset to get it. Sadly Duu, that is not so. I did purchase VOL 1 and 2 (the mini series) and there is not a OST CD. I even called and spoke with the person who processed my order. I was told that an OST did not exist. I am very disappointed. I emailed him and asked if he could get back to me That was weeks ago. I don't think he will ever get back to me. One of the reasons I bought VOL 2 was specifically to receive the OST. In my email to him I copies several postings off this board about VOL 2 including the OST.

kathleen34 where did you buy the sets from? It is always best to ask questions at the online store. But I think Yesasia may or may not have an overseas version that may include it? it is best to contact them though.

But I think Yesasia may or may not have an overseas version that may include it? it is best to contact them though. YesAsia does have a set available from their global site, but I don't think they can sell to a U.S. address. (I could be wrong, though) Their set DOES include an OST See hereIf the set without an OST was purchased from KBS-America, it probably doesn't include an OST unless it was mentioned. (I just checked and one wasn't listed.) It's my opinion that KBS-America isn't quite ready to handle the demands for their dramas. I wish they would let YesAsia handle it or at least have a request section where English speakers could translate drama requests from non-Koreans like YesAsia has available. It would also be nice if they would offer extras that the fans like (i.e., OSTs, boxed sets - not just EORs!).YesAsia is promoting their KBS products differently, thus the inclusion of the OST. Then again, they are usually pretty good about including OSTs in their popular drama boxed sets. Melissa

The boxed set sold at Yesasia, is from KBS, just that that box set was meant only to be distributed in Korea. You can purchase the box set from aladdinus.com (though the site is in Korean, but they're located right here in the US, and they do pretty good job at packaging even when the material is just magazines, especially if certain magazines come with free gifts), or from such sites as dvdfromkorea, dvdheaven. The box set at these sites for IYSS include the OST

Kathleen, in the volume 2 that I purchased, the second of the two DVD boxes has four flaps, compared to three for the other box. The soundtrack flap is added onto the right side, with a slot in the cardboard for the CD (loosely inserted, as opposed to a rigid plastic holder for the three DVDs). In the product you purchased, is there no extra flap at all? I'm wondering if the CD might just have been left out of the package accidentally, instead of it not being included on purpose. Do you have that fourth flap?

Maybe we have to flood KBS with e-mails to let them know people are interested in the OST. I think I should have received one considering the price of the complete series. Instead they sent a DVD called"The sounds of the four seasons unveiled by digital magic" which I would gladly give away. I had e-mailed KBS about a month ago and they responded saying that "they didn't think they could meet the demands of the American viewers". You'd think they would hire more people to meet the demands. How hard is it to burn a CD? It doesn't cost much either.

YIKES!!!! "they didn't think they could meet the demands of the American viewers". DUH...I like your deluge idea. First of all it's very disappointing that Yesasia cannet give good customer service to us after having spent a good deal of money over the years. IYSS is something we all waited for and now I think they've really messed with us. You're exactly right, tinkerbell ... providing an OST should have been a logical inclusion. I'm very disappointed... especially when I spoke to the person who actually processed my order ... he wasn't aware of an OST ... They surely like our American Dollars. ::)Look at how much we all appreciated the Dae Jang Geum OST and that was a wonderfully successful drams. I surely appreciate your thoughts and support you idea!

I think it is good that KBS says that they can not meet the demand of american customers. Think about this,it proves that korean shows are popular to american viewers. This will encourage them to increase production and staff to support the demand in the future. It may not cost much to burn a cd. But it certainly takes time to burn music on to cds. Time for which they do not have right now. We must give them a break. Simply, because they are new to the online business. Give them some time and they will improve their service in the future.

Duu... I am humbled by your post. Thank you for reminding me that being new can be very difficult. perhaps by the end of the year they will get an idea how much we admire and respect their products. You made some very valuable points.

I kind of thought their online store was around for awhile. Maybe that's why Amazon had EOR to download last year because they are a big company who could handle the volume of customers. I just hope KBS -America realizes there is a gold mine to be had here.

ajk, have you been able to scrape the money together yet to buy YSS ? DuU, how are you doing watching the drama? Did you watch them all yet?(ha ha) Did anyone else order them ? We were all going crazy waiting and wondering if it would come out on DVD. Did most people buy the 2 Volume set? I agonized whether to buy them or wait to see if in time they would release all the episodes. It was a painful wait but I'm glad I did.

I have not seen them all yet,am only on episode 68. But I do notice some problems viewing episodes 59-64. I played them on the comp DVD. But it would force the dvd player to crash/quit. It played fine on a home dvd player. But there were noticeable artifacts and pixelation errors. I even played episode 65 on a playstation2. but a certain scene caused the player to stop playing. So I had to skip that scene. Do you have any problems playing the discs too?
