DuU , My IYSS DVDs are scheduled to arrive on Tuesday the 24th. Iwas wondering if you ordered or were waiting for some feedback? I will certainly let you know. It seems to take about 10 days after you order.I can't wait! I've just about worn out my video tapes of the show. In the meantime, I've also been visiting youtube watching clips.Been listening to the awesome music too.Love to crank it up. The people at kbs-america have been very nice.

Has anyone already received their DVDs? If so, what do you think?

Yea I was waiting for feedback. But also I am waiting for relatives to order for me. I am not sure when that will happen,as they tend to be a bit flakey. I have the last four episodes on tape too. It certainly is refreshing to see it again. Hopefully the tape will tide me over.

The soundtrack is the real music from the show. It's a neat disc to have, but it's the same stuff that's used repeatedly in the series. You know, the main stuff that you hear over and over again. So it's nothing you haven't heard already.
Actually, I wonder if such a disc was ever released in Korea during the series. This is one thing I've been very curious about--did KBS sell merchandise (CDs, posters, whatever else) associated with the show. I know there'd be a nice little market for it here in the forum.

ajk,I was wondering the same thing. I tried doing searches for posters, but came up empty so far. Maybe I will e-mail KBS and ask.

I am insterested in hearing a certain song. But unfortunately I do not know the name. it is in episode 103. When Yi soon shin is speaking with all his men in the meeting room. It is sort of motivation music. I think it is the same track that played when he first met jansoon? Track has a flute as a vocal. Then has some strings and horns I think.

Thanks mtllandis. I appreciate the links. Can't get enough pics. I've been obsessed with IYSS ever since I first started watching it. I should have joined long ago, but just read what everybody else wrote. I just received my complete set of DVDs today. I felt like I went through withdrawl symptoms when it ended. I feel like a changed person after watching the show.Right now I'm watching Dae Jo Young and I really like it. So many familiar faces from past shows. I think IYSS will always be my favorite though. It's pretty hard to top. No offense to anyone who disagrees.

No, DuU. That would be quite an accomplishment! I've watched the first 6 episodes so far. It's awesome! There are 2 episodes on each DVD. The set comes with each DVD in a plastic case and there isn't a box like you see with volumes 1 & 2. That's a little bit of a bummer. Guess I'll have to make my own with a pic or two. The quality of the DVDs looks good though. ;D

Haha oh? I was going to say, that would be impossible. Did your shipment arrive safely? Did any of the discs come damaged? how did they pack the discs for shipping? So does each case have a picture on it? Maybe you can post some pictures here?

Each DVD was in a clear plastic case with 2 episodes on each disc. So there were a bunch of loose DVDs wrapped in bubble plastic. Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures on the cases and no box like you would expect when you'd buy a boxed set from a TV series.

tinkerbell I may have been too anxious when I wrote the previous message. I have looked over the internet for some news on kbs america and their site. Looking at another forum I found some information. www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_44752.htmIt seems kbs america took its site down because it's transaction software was releasing personal data of its users. It made a list of customers to be sold to other companies allegedly. I do not know if the site will be back up or not.
