I don't really have a good feeling about where this story is going. Cheers to Sanghyuk's dad for seeking the blood test--he seems to be one of the kindest, most decent people around, regardless of his personal situtation. And a (muted) cheer for Cherin, who realized that Sanghyuk was bending the truth about the break-up of JS and Yujin--even called him a liar.
But I see tragedy in the offing--JS's illness. Remember earlier he nearly fainted and we didn't know what to make of it. Romeo and Juliet? Maybe.

I'm glad I was wrong about Joonsang wanting to commit suicide. When he started all their memorabilia into the ocean, I had a bad feeling that he was going in there with them, but it still is so tragic that no one would level with that poor couple. Even Yujin's dad taking a blood test isn't jumping to tell them (I wonder if he will if he is the real dad) since he seems to feel that they broke up already...geesh...Now I'm thinking Joonsang will die again, and then they will find out they could have been together all the time..... I guess after Damo, I'm getting used to not having happy endings.

My Romeo and Juliet ending has Sanghyuk's dad finding out that he is Joonsang's father and rushing to tell him, but JS commits suicide before he gets there. Call me gloomy today--I have a cold, and it is a gray day here in Chicago.

NNNOOOOO, Chi8, lets be optimistic Okay I definetely think that Sanghyuks dad is also Joonsangs dad, he did the math and the possibility of him being the real father is huge. But that would also mean that he slept with Mihee when he was already married, since Sanghyuk and Joonsang are the same age. I'm glad he asked for that blood test, I can't wait til the results. I am so tempted to go on the spoiler thread, but I must remain strong! 2 more episodes and we'll find out the truth. Why doesn't Mihee say the truth already. She hasn't actually come out and said that Hyunsoo is Joonsang's dad. All she keeps saying is "I'm sorry!" She can't make her son pay for her mistakes, that's just wrong. There is a scene in this episode where Joonsang is throwing the coin and the necklace in the ocean then he cries and cries, does anybody know the name of the song that was playing at that moment? That song was so beautiful. (I think it was during that scene I have to check my taped episode again) That song made me want to cry. I wish I knew what the heck the song was saying though.

well, not being able to write, read or speak Korean I don't know the name of that beautiful song.
HOWEVER, it's #11 on my WLS CD.. and you're right, it brings you to tears ... you should just go to YesAsia and buy the CD ... I've gotten in the habit of putting it on before I go to sleep Long before it appeared in the story, I just came to love #11

I guess after Damo, I'm getting used to not having happy endings. Not to get off topic but sad, or tragic, endings have become more common in Korean dramas lately. The popularity of Autumn Fairy Tale (in which the lead female character dies at the end) is probably one of the reasons why. If something works in one drama others are bound to copy it. Now, does that mean that Winter Love Song will have a sad ending? You'll have to watch the final episode to find out.

No, Alexa, don't read the spoiler thread, you have to be as surprised as I am with the finale! When he was rushed to the hospital I was like, They better not even think of making him die! This was a very "Scream at your TV" worthy episode. I kept thinking he's so sweet, but it still might be his sister. That fact kept me from enjoying a lot of the past two episodes. If that mother of his is lying, I swear he better not talk to her ever again. She's done one too many things: first she never told him who his father is, and even if she hates him, he has a right to know. Second, there was that whole memory wiping incident. And if she's lying about them being brother and sister, I think that would be the last straw and make her the most despicable character.

She's only thinking of herself, of how she's going to look when the truth is revealed (especially if that truth is that she slept with a married man.) She's being pretty selfish. GC, I will not go on the spoiler thread, promise ;D

The Classics OST is the first OST that was released. Click on the annyoung link that I posted. Moment is on that OST. Just so we're all on the same page, Moment is the song that's playing when Joonsang throws the necklace into the water. The song that kathleen is referring to is a different song.

I'm starting to feel optimistic now that SH's father has ordered the blood test. Call me a Pollyanna, but I just can't see them having JS commit suicide or die before finding out that he and YJ aren't related--which I do think is the case--or find out and die anyway. It's very hard to "read" the dramatic intentions, which I believe the writers keep changing--but I have to say that to me, THIS, right now, seems like it will turn out to be the saddest part of the show. And didn't someone say that once WLS was acknowledged to be runaway popular, the writers started changing the ending? That, to me--knowing what we know now and how things look to be turning out--means that originally the story was to have a tragic ending but they had to make it turn out well. I mean, you might intend a happy ending all along, or you might intend a sad one, but you don't change a happy one to a sad one just because your show is popular. It just doesn't add up that way to me. Then again . . . that doctor did say that a young man shouldn't get so sick for no reason. (Oh really? Doesn't he watch the Korean soaps? It happens all the time. ) And they're waiting for his test results. I have to admit, this show could go either way.

Is the singer, RYU, Korean or Japanese? I'm curious because I saw on this Korean Entertainment show that they have on every weekend and they were talking about OST's from various dramas and they showed real briefly the OST of Winter Love Song and the singer...I couldn't hear too clearly whether he was singing the theme song in Korean or Japanese.
