Does it bother anybody else that JS is not sharing with Yujin the reason that his mother is opposed to their marriage? He wants to get married right away, and he doesn't tell Yujin why maybe they shouldn't (if he really knows). Granted he is trying to protect her from the situation, but under the circumstances she should probably know. Or does he think he can sort it out by himself? He is caring and thoughtful and kind, but maybe just this once he should share his concerns with her.
That damned picture keeps showing up--seems like everybody has a copy. But I think it's interesting that the copy JS found when he was in high school had Sanghyuk's father torn out (am I right about that?). Could it be that Mihee tore it out because SH's dad was the father of her illegitimate child and therefore the cause of a lot of her and JS's pain?
Interesting bit of foreboding when the photographer remarked that JS and Yujin looked a lot alike.

I'm with you about that @*!? picture. And the camera doesn't linger very long...just short tantalizing seconds!!!! They're teasing us..."lookey here, lookey there - what'cha think now?" they seem to be saying. You know, this episode has the first expression of Joonsang's desperation and fear when they embraced. When I saw it I felt physically struck! I have become waaaayyyyy to involved in this. Probably because my First Love came in winter.

But see, being that Joonsang has such a wonderful sense of priorities, i cannot imagine him insisting on marrying Yujin if he knew he was her half brother. My guess is that he knows that he and Youngshuk are half brothers and it will cause some major familiy problems. ... thus the desparate look. So get married NOW, and let the families sort things out after the fact. That photographer's remark about 'you look so much alike' ... what was THAT! ? They both have a nose, two eyes and a mouth? Their hair is very different and their eyes surely don't look alike... the nose? I haven't given it that much thought other than that they both have a nose. Mihee... she's a very interesting character... could she have produced Cherin as well?

Posted by: kathleen34 Today at 16:47:10 Mihee... she's a very interesting character... could she have produced Cherin as well? Huh! With her track record - anything is possible. Remember when she collapsed after her concert and Joonsang asked the doctor (he identified himself as a psychologist) if she was still receiving therapy? And she tried to commit suicide. Life for her could be soooo jumbled that even she probably could not separate truth from fiction. How sad for her.

Due to a VCR error, I missed this episode. Did anything important happen?

Could it be that Mihee tore it out because SH's dad was the father of her illegitimate child and therefore the cause of a lot of her and JS's pain? The picture that Joonsang had as a teen had Yujin's father torn out. Thats why Joonsang thought Sanghyuks father was also his father. Then when he went to Yujins house he saw the full picture and saw that his mom was holding on to Yujin's dad. I was thinking about why Joonsang wanted to marry Yujin even after having that talk with his mother. So at first I was thinking I can't believe he wants to marry her knowing that she's his half sister. BUT we don't know that yet. His mother never actually came out and said anything. SO I'm just going to think happy thoughts, and believe that Joonsang and Yujin are not related.

they probably aren't since there is still sh's dad to think about. let's not rule him out. and then again, how much older is js to yu-gin? that can tell us a lot about their probable relations...same age, different months also matters.

I'm watching WLS w/my brother (this is his first k-drama) and we were sitting on the couch, all I know is that after that scene we were sitting on opposit sides of the couch! That d**ned picture keeps showing up--seems like everybody has a copy. LOL!

I think that JS should have told YJ about what his mom told him. But he probably didn't to save YJ from the stress and tears. YJ herself is already feeling something suspicious about the picture her mom showed her.
Wasn't it Sang-hyuk who put the idea in Joon-sang's head about a possible bro-sis relationship with Yu-jin? It was after the two men had drinks and Joon-sang told Sang-hyuk that back in the day, Joon-sang's mom and Yu-jin dad were engaged. Sang-hyuk said something like, "You and Yu-jin could have been bro and sis" and then something lit up in Joon-sang's head.

Well I don't think SH put that thought into his head in that he did it on purpose or with any malicious intent, more like kind of kidding around. It did spark some kind of memory in Joonsang though. I can't wait for all of this to get cleared up, I'm anxiously waiting for Friday!

I can't wait for all of this to get cleared up, I'm anxiously waiting for Friday! You're right...SH didn't do it on purpose because he did say it in a "I'm just kidding with ya" tone. I think the thought of Yu-jin being Joon-sang's sis was in JS's mind, but it didn't come into full effect until SH said it.
