Great episode! Yu-jin and Joon-sang all the way!! I caught bits and pieces of this episode, but I taped it. I have to watch the whole thing later. But from what I saw, I'm glad that Yu-jin was by Joon-sang's side in the hospital. I'll talk more about it after I see the episode fully.

I'm still wondering when Mihee is going to talk to her about who her parents are. She knows that Yujin dated Joonsang when they were younger, so she knows that town they're from.
I thought that I had seen Mihee asking Yujin something about her parents on a preview many episodes ago, but that never materialized. Perhaps they cut those scenes out (I seem to remember it taking place in the summer cabin) but it irks me because I want to know whether the relationship issue has been taken care of. Maybe the audience (watching the uncut version at least) has known who his father was (or wasn't) for a long time.

i have the dvd. I didnt find out for sure until the last episode
FROM BO - Moreshige, sorry, I just don't think your warning was sufficient. There are 26 episodes, not 20. Put the spoiler in the spoiler thread, if you wish.

sorry about that. The dvd has 20 episodes not 26 but i just realized that most of you are watching the drama on TV in chicago. So I didn't think episode "20" was that much more of a spoiler. And my episode 20 is probably not the same episode. sorry again.

Ah, to have the crystal clear reception of the show that would come with dvds. I am jealous. Also half-jealous that I didn't get to see the spoiler, but I don't really want to read spoilers anyway.
At least now we know that we will find out in the last episode - or 2nd to last depending on how they edit it. (But since they've kissed, I think that they're not going to be related - that's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

OK, so let's be clear: We in Chicago are going to see 26 episodes, not 20, so next weekend is not the last weekend for WLS? Arrgh. I'm enjoying it, especially now that Yu-jin is all "Joon-sang or bust!" , but I thought we were finally nearing closure. I guess they have to drag this out as long as they can.

I, for one, don't see how they're going to turn two episodes into 8. It seems impossible. That's using 480 minutes of air time to show 120 minutes of story, and they don't even have that many commercials. Is everyone certain it will be 26 episodes? Maybe it's only 22.

Sorry I'm double posting, but I just realized something. KBC had a subtitle that said episode 18, so is it their #18 or the series' #18? I guess it would have to be theirs if there are so many more episodes. Anyone know where in the original episodes this falls?

Hachi, I think it must be "our" episode 18, not the original series' 18. Because the epi numbers they put up at the beginning over the credits aren't always there. If there were from the series as originally broadcast, I would think they would be up on the screen consistently, such as over the first scene of the show, as in most other K dramas I've seen.
Also, I don't think it's necessarily the case that they would be stretching 2 episodes into 8 if we are going to go to 26 episodes, since we don't know what plot twists and turns are yet to come. We only think we're very near the end of the series, but maybe there is more to come than we know.

They are not stretching 2 episodes into 8. Every episode so far has had time shaved off of its original airing time, 40 minutes [OOPS! 120] I believe, to fit into an hour with commercials. You're getting the story the way it was written, not "stretched out."

I just called Chicago's Korean AmericanBroadcasting Company. Hopefully the girl understood what I was asking, but she said there are 26 episodes.

;D Hey, I don't care HOW many more episodes there are - if they are going to be together (happy ending ), then they can take as lonnnnng as they want. Yujin's 10 years of grieving has just got to be assuaged. I want to see them revel in rediscovery, laugh in their world of love and just.............well, you know ;D

Sorry, I spoke confusingly when I said "stretched out". By that, I meant that I thought they might be adding in so many commercials that two episodes equaled 8.
But when I thought about it, and Lucy helped, it would be our 18, which is probably their 12 or 15 or something.
How long were the original episodes? 80 mins?

Ok, I watched this episode fully yesterday afternoon. I was really going to cry when I saw JS/MH have a memory of helping Yu-jin put on her shoes while he was helping a little girl put on her shoe. Even though the memory was very vague....he saw Yu-jin's face through the sun-shine. It was so touching! And how about when she appeared at the airport and he saw her face through the sun-shine again? So sad and touching! I was mad when JS/MH wanted to walk out on Yu-jin the morning after. He was believing Sang-hyuk's words about MH not really being JS if he doesn't have the memories. The bus accident was terrible. JS got hit again , but it showed that his memory triggered back? Like those scenes they had playing in the snow together. I hope JS/MH wakes up soon so he and Yu-jin can be together! 26 episodes? I thought there were only 20 because on KoreanWiz, there were only 20 episodes stated. But yeah, I'm with everyone: Who cares how many episodes there are...just as long as JOON-SANG/MIN-HYUNG and YU-JIN are together in the end!!!
