First of all - Yay for Jae-min's mom (from MPC/MLF) for appearing as Sanghyuk's mother! This is a much tinier role for her though and I almost didn't recognize her in the episode.
Second - Okay for those of us who have seen the preview of the next episode, we know what happened to Joonsang, something that I won't mention b/c I think it was decided that we could post information from the preview if we marked it but don't want to make any people who don't remember that accidentally stumble across it.
Anyway, how does that go with what they thought happened to him before? Seriously, no police, what? No funeral? Didn't the school administrators know his mother? I mean his classmates might not have known that he had parents, but his mother was conspicuously absent from any of the "funeral" proceedings (what, he didn't have a real one? The accident wasn't bad enough that his body would have actually been torched or anything. And he wasn't a John Doe - he would have had relatives there - other than his mother probably too).
I give this plothole an F. Unless they explain it later, at which point I might upgrade it to a D.

So I'm watching the scene where JoonSang is in Yujin's home and he see's the picture of his mother holding on to Yujin's father and I guess it dawns on him that maybe Yujin's father is also his father. All along he was thinking that Sanghyuk's father was his father too and now he realizes that he must be mistaken. (I couldn't help but think of Damo) I was thinking to myself, why doesn't JoonSang just ask Sanghyuk's dad for the truth? why doesn't he ask his mother for the truth? then he gets hit by a car, dies, and I'm thinking, "great we'll never know the truth now." But it's a tv drama, so I'm pretty sure eventually the truth will come out. (at least I hope so)

Yes - he had to hide it from everyone? He could've asked Sanghyuk's father or even his own mother - I don't see why she wouldn't answer. He could tell her about his problem and then see what her response was.
Also, in regards to my earlier post - my bad, I thought that it was actually going to be Joonsang who showed up instead of Lee M-somethingorother. It has got to be Joonsang, except with a convenient case of amnesia. The question now is whether he'll fall in love with Yujin again, whether he'll do so with or without remembering who he was and she was previously. Also, why is he now an heir to a company? Did his pianist mother marry a mogul or was he adopted/taken in by family/foster people?

I think that the amnesia theory is correct. It doesn't look as though his body was reclaimed from the accident site. Also, I'm sure that Yujin is falling in love again with Joonsang, because of so many clues that she still carries a torch for him (e.g., looking towards the back of the bus and seeing them as teenagers again). Wasn't it also interesting that she had a piece of the puzzle which was in his office?

It has got to be Joonsang, except with a convenient case of amnesia. You think so? hmmm, well that is something to think about. I mean, they never showed a body, no funeral (like you said.) I feel bad for Sanghyuk though. Just when he thought that he was going to finally be with Yujin, that guy shows up and stirs emotions and feelings in Yujin again. I swear I don't know how Sanghyunk does it, I guess the saying love is blind is true. Even after Yujin missed their engagement party he still loves her and forgives her. He seems like such a nice, sweet loving man. In a way I wish Yujin loved him back. His been with her through everything.

Wasn't it also interesting that she had a piece of the puzzle which was in his office? When the movers were moving the furniture into the office that piece must've fallen out, because Yujin picked it up from the floor.

Gotcha! But it's still something that might trigger a few memories from before his accident? I'm sure something will come to light.

hmmm, well that is something to think about. I mean, they never showed a body, no funeral (like you said.). Actually, I don't know if it was him, but they showed a stretcher with a blue sheet over a body at the accident site. That was probably him - I don't think that the driver/passengers of the car would be injured enough for that.

True, but just because he was on the stretcher, it doesn't mean he was dead. And besides, his mom didn't want him staying there. So if he did survive and got amnesia, his mother probably took him away.

What's with the new name though? Did she marry someone while he was in a coma and have him put her son on his register?
I guess we'll find out around episode 10 or so? That seems too long to wait.

I don't know. It just seems likely that's how he would've gotten amnesia and would've explained how they got to change his name and so forth.

hmmm, that could be true.
Anyways how did he start dating that other girl? I wonder if she knows that it might be JoonSang, or she just thinks that it's a stranger who happens to be identical to Joonsang.

Especially since you notice she didn't tell him that he looks like her dead friend. She waited until he was out of the room to discuss how "similar" he looks and then when he asked her about it in the car she said it was because it was the first time she'd introduced a boyfriend to them.

My heart breaks for poor Sanghyunk (sorry I'm just getting into the discussion, but I had to catch up with these episodes). He's so nice, so loving. "I'm grateful just to have you in my life." *swoons*
Same sentiments here about the unexplained plotholes. Hopefully they will be filled in and not be another missing wad of cash a la Phoenix.
