Man, if my life depended upon it I would be a dead person because I could not choose A FAVORITE. However, one of my many favorites was when YSS was training land troops how to cope with the sea... in preparation to be navy guys. Throwing up, falling down, :-/whining... it was very funny... and beyond that, it was very effective. By the time they quit throwing up, falling down, and whining they went on to become a spectacular navy to be dealt with ... and to make Wakazaki crazed. ... unlike a 21st Century bar scene where the same behaviors can be found: throwing up, falling down, and whining - nothing good really comes of it.

I loved the scene where he vowed to "never lose a battle again." Sounded a bit bold at the time - but, dude!, he lived it! Thanks to whoever it was who put the audio from that scene on the board. I play those quite a bit.
And where can I get the CD of Bruckner's 7th?

any scene where the Japanese are getting destroyed.
The scene where Admiral Yi grieves over Myun's death...very maudlin scene. How much pain--physical and emotional--our dear Admiral went through..
from then on, his world became forlorn...

I'm confused. Why are you asking about that CD, KDD? (Or Eowyn, LOL) Was that just a random question or did it have something to do with a previous post that I can't find? Not criticizing here, just driven by curiosity...

I figured that, but I couldn't jump from that to why it was asked here...lol. Was it used as part of the theme song, or was that the stirring music we've been hearing...wait a minute. I know what we're talking about. Never mind. Bo

Sigh..... OK. Alexa. Classical music used in the IYSS * Josef Anton Bruckner (1824-1896) - Symphony No. 7 In E Major: Adagio. Sehr feierlich und sehr langsam kagetora.com.ne.kr/yss/iyss19.wma(only parts of the symphony) * Edvard Hegerup Grieg (1843-1907) 'Aase's Death' from Suite Peer Gynt Op.46-2 kagetora.com.ne.kr/yss/iyss18.mp3(extracted from IYSS Ep. 5) This song was mainly used in the death scenes such as YSS's death (Ep. 5) and pestilence (Ep. 86) + To make this post related to the topic title : The scenes using these songs were very impressive to me. LOL ;D

Edvard Grieg, I didn't know. Norway's most famous composer! You can also hear Ase's death here . It's in the very last download box. Thanks Choko.

Thanks Choko, I really like the first song. I'll probably end up buying the cd. It has been through these k-dramas, that I've begun to appreciate classical music.

Thank you Choko. Now poor little Alexa can stop crying...LOL.
Oh, and the fact that Alexa is crying reminds me of scenes of women crying in YSS, which are impressive scenes to me. LOL.
