"The prism of presentism" ... nicely put. To that list I'd add Taegukgi, which IMO has as much to do with Korea's generation gap as it does with the 6.25 War. At least that's how it seems to me.
When Heaven is going to give a great responsibility to someone, it first makes his mind endure suffering. It makes his sinews and bones experience toil, and his body to suffer hunger.
