Nothing strikes fear into the heart of a YSS fan like the show not being on when you expect. YSS was pre-empted on WMBC tonight. Did anyone happen to notice when it will return? Thank you!

I have KTV, the local Korean channel here, and they didn't show it, either... I suppose it's best if you contact your station.

We were waiting for it to come on last night at its usual time, too, and it did not come on! How can we find out when it will be on again? Does anybody know? We watch KBS here.

The same thing happened to me (and boy, was I mad!) but across the bottom of the screen after the news it said in both Korean and English: "We are sorry but due to circumstances beyond our control, the Immortal Yi Soon Shin will not air tonight. It will return next weekend at it's regular scheduled time." So hopefully everything will be back to normal next weekend. But I'm not sure if this means they will completely skip over episode 72 or bump the rest. ~ Heather in NJ www.isotype-newtype.com/

Heather, do you watch IYSS on KBS, like we do? We never saw them say it wouldn't be on last night, or that it would be on again next week.

No, sorry. I get WMBC (Channel 63) out of Newton, NJ. www.wmbctv.com/ But hearing that the other channels experienced the same problem on the same night, I figure the results might be the same, too. You might want to contact your local station, as Sporks suggested, just to be on the safe side. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. ~ Heather

Thanks for the info. I did email them, but they never answered me, and there's no phone # to call them, darn it :-(
Does anybody know if DVD's of IYSS are sold anywhere?

Heather, it's me again. yes, it was WMBC that I watch IYSS on, too. Thanks for sending me the link. I'm going to go contact them now. No wonder KBS never wrote me back, lol.

You're welcome! And let us know if WMBC writes you back and what they have to say, okay? And as far as I know, they have yet to release any of IYSS on DVD. I wonder if KBS plans on releasing it as a boxset rather than induvidual discs; I know most Kdramas are released like that (and they're expensive, which is why I buy mostly movies and not series). If that's the case, it probably won't be for another year, huh. But I've been keeping my eyes peeled on AsianDB, since they're based in Seoul I figure they'd get it first. www.asiandb.com/store/list.pfm?part=Video&type=&country=&genre=TV~ Heather

Hmm...maybe they want to catch the east coast up to where CHicago is, so we can all be on the same page?
Would be nice to join in the discussion fairly quickly!
Let us know how it goes, guys!

yeah...I missed it because the timing changed.
I live in NJ, and it wasn't on at 9; I believe it was moved to 10 pm?

I heard that you guys had a problem with the schedule. The only reason they pulled YSS on July 3 because it's an eve for tomorrow's holiday. So that the people who works in WMBC station may had a day-off on Sunday. And it's the same thing for WEBR-CA Station. www.wmbctv.com/

Thanks, Heather, I'll keep a watch for it there, too. Still no answer back from wmbc, but I did have my husband call them yesterday, and they said they didn't receive the film from Calif in time, and that's why they didn't show it Sunday night. Do you believe that?
