Hey, I just watched a VOD about you guys on the KBS website. It was a TV program for the 2nd anniversary of KBS WORLD. www.kbs.co.kr/1tv/index.html?pg_date=20050630&table=pg_1tvIf you have KBS ID, you can watch it for free. Look at the 23 : 35 ~ 0 : 50 on the time table and click the small TV icon. You guys appeared around 7:30 of the VOD. The VOD shows that you guys were watching together YSS was shot by a Japanese sniper at the battle of Sacheon on TV. It is funny to see a man (Nicholas?) say "Don't let the enemy know my death" in Korean. Perfect Korean pronunciation. You would be a good actor! ;D And... I noticed that there is a charming woman called Alexandra. is it you, Alexa? John was also a good actor! Don't worry, John. I can understand what you said in Korean. ;D Michael, you have softer voice than Constable Kwon. Anyway, who's that guy saying "Oi Kimchi is my favorite Kimchi" I love Oi Kimchi, too. LOL ;D I also loved to see the cute Hello Kitty cassette player, a red textbook named "Let's talk in Korean" and Admiral YSS's war diary. VIB's pictures were also shown. The narrator said some of you started to learn Korean to understand Korean dramas more. Does it refer to you, Flowerlady? I also saw a woman whose name is Elizabeth, but I don't know who she is. I could not match the people on TV with the nicknames on this board. I was very pleased to see you guys on TV.

Hi Choko. I'm glad you could see some of us. We have seen Michael's subtitled version that he posted in the "general" board. Here is the thread where Michael posted his subtitled version and his post explains this to us and gives us the subtitles if we could not see them. VOD post To answer some of your questions. The actor is nicopico. The actress is Alexa. John is Soju I'm not sure about the Kimchi. That would probably be Nicopico or Soju. Here is a link to Soapygrams pictures. I don't think everyone is in these. I'll give you the run down because it's easier than trying to list everyone on the video in order. I hope this will help you match up some people: www.dreamrealms.com/korean/1) Soju 2) Me & birb 3) nicopico & JP 4) Soju 5) Lucy & birb 6) antares , birb, nicopico 7) blury but you can see JP in the middle and soju to the right 8) JP, soju, alexa, Me 9) antarea & birb 10) food shot 11) the camera man & that's me & my honey grilling 12 & 13) Michael & daughters I think their names are Rebecca and Esther. Bo please correct me if I'm wrong on this. You know how bad I am with names.

;D ;D
Hey, I saw my post on Weapons used in the Imjin War get a shot in the spotlight. One thing that I laughed about was when you all were watching the show. You all were so into it that the last thing you probably cared about was the camera. I bet the cameraman had to drag you from the T.V.
Good stuff. You lucky I wasn't there or I would've had my Yi Soon Shin outfit on embarrassing my girlfriend like crazy. LOL!!

The couple things we watched was a short about Yi soon shin in history and a little of the episode were to see here the following week. Where he gets shot in the shoulder. I think that would be great having you all dressed up. All is OK I embarrass my bf quite often.

Not a bad idea though, we should have a Korean Party and we should all dress up in outfits like the ones used in YSS. I love the dresses the women wear, they are so beautiful.

Wow, that's so awesome. I love the fact that, the common interest in this drama has brought together such a diverse group of people -- amazing. It would've been quite amusing, but cool, if everyone decided to dress as different characters and act out a scene from YSS. That would've been real funny to watch...heh, well, it was something I always wanted to do. Well, hi...I've decided to de-lurk; it must've been my shyness holding me back from posting, all this time.

Kathleen, It would be cool if she came on vaca then. I totally understand your enthusiasm. Like the new avatar Bo? It's ME. That was really Phoenix (Jean Gray after her transformation) I don't know how long this will last. I have a few more pics of her to use at a later date.

Quote from Choko: "The narrator said some of you started to learn Korean to understand Korean dramas more. Does it refer to you, Flowerlady? " Hi, Choko-- No, that wasn't me. I wasn't able to attend that gathering, although I would like to meet all of those folks one day (maybe at the Korean street festival this summer). **Americans are celebrating the 4th of July (Independence Day) this weekend. So many firecrackers and fireworks are going off at night that my poor little puppy dog is getting pretty rattled. She hates loud noises! Take good care, Choko and have a great weekend.
