OK, so I'm an AoW fan from California, and I'm trying to figure out if we're on the same schedule, as far as episode numbers go. Today is Friday, Aug. 15th, and I have just watched episode 34 (well, the second half of it, anyway, I missed the first 25 minutes or so).
The station I watch, KBIT-TV in San Jose, shows AoW on Thursday and Friday nights at 10:00pm (2 episodes a week). I don't think they repeat the episodes, but since their website is just a big HSN ad, with no schedule listings or contact link, I can't tell for sure. The station itself is quite the anomaly -- half the day they show HSN, then various Korean programming (including AoW), and then MTV2 from midnight to 6am.
I've tried not to read too much of the posts here, as I don't want to spoil anything for myself, in case you all are further into the series than I am. Likewise, if it turns out that I am further than you are, I don't want to spoil anything for you. However, we didn't get english subtitles out here until around episode 24, I think, so anything you can explain about the beginning of the series is welcome information to me. For instance, I know that the former emporer was deposed, and have recently learned that the current emporer is the deposed emporer's younger brother. But I know little of why the former emporer was deposed. Was he really a despot and tyrant, or did the warriors simply seek to gain control of the empire by installing a puppet emporer? I know there was a rift between Chung Jung-Bu and Yi Ui-Bang, but I don't know why it started, and it seems as though they were allies at the beginning of the series, or at least they worked together to depose the emporer.
Anyway, I look forward to the rest of the series, and discussing it with fellow fans.
