That made my eyes tear and lachrymose.
History doesn't know; the rest of the world doesn't know, but at least Korea remembers its greatest military leader.
Without the admiral, Korea would definately have been screwed over by the Japanese. Anyone want to argue that?

Hello.... I ran into this site through a web search. It always fascinates me when I see non-koreans who show so much interest in any and all things korean. Anyway.... I saw the 2 part special on YSS from KBS. It was really interesting to see how they followed up with the descendants of the generals who were involved and how they viewed their ancestors.
One of the generals descendent talked about how he came to learn that the man he thought so brave, had died a tragic way. But that he was never told of his death, only the glory of his involvements.
It seems, that is not all..... they pointed out many instances where the japanese covered up their stories of their deaths in the Imjin War. YSS was the "storm" which caused the deaths of many japanse..... u will understand after u see it.

I can't wait to go to Korea to see the Turtle Ship. I heard that the turtle ship is going to run on Han river on the 4th Saturday of every month. (Manse! Manse! I have more chances to go to see the turtle ship! )
