GREEN DAY LYRICS
"Boulevard Of Broken Dreams"
I walk a lonely road The only one that I have ever known Don't know where it goes But it's home to me and I walk alone
I walk this empty street On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams Where the city sleeps and I'm the only one and I walk alone
I walk alone I walk alone
I walk alone I walk a...
My shadow's the only one that walks beside me My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me 'Til then I walk alone
Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Aaah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah
I'm walking down the line That divides me somewhere in my mind On the border line Of the edge and where I walk alone
Read between the lines What's fucked up and everything's alright Check my vital signs To know I'm still alive and I walk alone
I walk alone I walk alone
I walk alone I walk a...
My shadow's the only one that walks beside me My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me 'Til then I walk alone
Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Aaah-ah Ah-ah, Ah-ah
I walk alone I walk a...
I walk this empty street On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams Where the city sleeps And I'm the only one and I walk a...
My shadow's the only one that walks beside me My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me 'Til then I walk alone...
I don't know how to explain how, but it kind of reminds me of this story of the Immortal Yi Soon Shin ( the character of the drama). If this is completely wrong, please let me know, ok? Thanks.

*yawn* pop-punk. I don't see the connection. Yi Soon Shin was lonely, yes. But his life wan't empty.

Oh, Cindy, don't be so quick to agree with ID. (You so cranky, ID. ) The song is about a person lonely in their heart, and as far as I can see, that's just about everyone, ultimately. No matter who surrounds us, we have only ourselves to look to. YSS has walked his road alone, no matter who was physically by his side. I can see why you think of him when you hear the song. Bo

Oded {that's-A-me} isn't in a good mood, when it's 10 degrees below zero outside, now is he?
sorry Cindy

*yawn* pop-punk. I don't see the connection. Yi Soon Shin was lonely, yes. But his life wan't empty. Well....WE know that...but in think about the first 4 episodes of Immortal Yi....he seemed pretty suicidal. i mean he took off his armor just before he died. He just seemed REALLY depressed. If the real Admiral Yi is like dramatized one (and i guess i'll need to read the War Diaries to know), then by the end of his life, Yi was in a deep depression...and those who are depressed see life negatively, even if the objective view is far more positive.

I remember him saying something like, "The Sea wants my Blood as well",before he was shot.
And he wasn't alone. There was Yu Sung-Ryung, Nalbal, Kwon Yu,Yi Young-Nam, and the rest of his Navy buddies. {I hope that line isn't taken the wrong way}
