I just want to say that I'm happy that I signed up for this forum and I really enjoy watching The Immortal Yi Soon Shin. The acting from all actors are great, and plus I learn some words in Korean (even though I'm not Korean). Is there any other Korean drama with subtitles that are good so I could watch?

hi, new girl. do you have a name?
don't worry about not being Korean, none of us are, save a few members here.
Other great shows include "Age Of Warriors", which I enjoyed more than this show, as there was more action. I guess my expections for this show were too high, as I only thought about the scenes showing the Imjin War. I never expected them to show his childhood. {Even though ,VIB, told us they would}. Sadly, this great show has finished around a month ago. hopefully, it will come out on DVD, but who knows? Also, "A.O.W." might not appeal to some, as it has constant fighting, backstabbing, murder, and all the good stuff. Seriously, after watching AOW, Quentin Tarantino looks like a pansy.
Anyway, welcome to the boards.

Welcome! We are not all Koreans. but give us a green cup and we'll dance in our under... oh. sorry, looky here. I know it's cheap, but the truth is that even though the show is compelling, we must do the dance of life. Anyway, the Great Cos helps to spread pudding pops across the land, so put on your mini straw hat umbrella and let's ride.

Hello, Cindy Menard. I think our members allowed their enthusiasm to overflow their ability to answer your question, LOL. I don't know what's playing in your area--perhaps you could post the name of the station you are watching so other Northeaster members could respond more sensibly.
Here in Chicago, we are watching Yi Soon Shin (Mon/Tues 8-9 pm), Winter Love Song (a/k/a Winter Sonata or Winter Ballad) (Fri/Sat 8-9 pm), Drama City (a filler that shows at different times) and My Precious Child (M-F 6-6:30 pm). These are approximate times, and there are reruns during the day. All of them are excellent, in different ways.
Perhaps you would like people to post some of their favorite shows, that you could rent, with short (nonspoiler) synopses? I'm thinking I'll move this thread to "other shows" after you give us a clue as to what you'd like, my dear.
Velkommen.
Bo
