I love this series so far (I'm only up to ep. 3). It's beautiful. My tapes aren't that great, and I keep cutting off the beginning or the end (sigh), but I can see that it's gorgeously filmed and I'm very interested in the characterization and historical info (although, according to VIB, it is flawed). I'm really enjoying all the wonderful conversation in the forum, too!

I noticed in another thread that someone was complaining about the Admiral looking off into the distance all the time, contemplating his next move. Did anyone here watch "Phoenix"? Because I swear, in the scene (Ep 3) where they capture the missive to the king claiming treason by Yi, when Yi was thinking about what he was going to do, Ji-eun of the interminable pauses leapt to mind. I hope she goes away soon, please gott.
