Well, i feel bad for not being able to post it, but i must say, YI SUN SHIN IS AWESOME. well, anyone who watched the first episode could see that. but i really would like to thank Christy Kim for doing an amazing job on the subtitles, inluding translations of text, and giving us the actor's names. great job!

Yeah, this series is great so far. But let me warn you, the action is gonna go from a 100% like in the first four episode to a 75% drop in episodes ranging from 5-11(I saw the VODs on the KBS websites) From your previous posts, you seem like an action freak. But remember this isn't AOW this is a bio drama which mainly focuses on one man and his struggles around him. We'll have to go through his life as a child, his relationship with his parents and sibling, his rivals, friends, his military life, etc.
But on the bright side, we get more NINJAS AND NAVAL WARFARE!! for two more episodes. ;D

YSS is terrific. i think watching the episodes 5-11 (that is as far as i have seen on vod) are important.....they are not exciting, but they do provide a look at the events in YSS' childhood that help shape the man he becomes. we carry each experience we have had in our lives with us, and those experiences are part of who and what we are, and what we do and how we do it, how we think, feel and act.

I'm really enjoying this drama so far. The acting and the dialog is really good. I especially appreciate how we are beginning to learn how and why Soon Shin's character developed the way it did........his integrity, loyalty, wisdom and strong heart. Very well done drama!
