I'm watching my usual AOW timeslot and so far no Admiral Yi. They ran the trailer for it after the last episode of AOW. Anybody out there know the deal for NYC? I watch channel 17. Thanks

Thanks guys!
I Googled it and found a snippet that said the 30th for NY & NJ. Weird actually, cause it linked to the main KBC fan page & I have no idea what thread it was on.

Tv, tv everywhere But there's no Yi Soon Shin Tv, tv everywhere The show did not begin! (excerpt from "The Rhyme of the Ancient Couch Potato" by Samuel Taylor Coleslaw)
But seriously(!?), I also watch Ch17 and it's a great little station but quite a trip when it comes to programming and scheduling. As a viewer, you've really got to hang loose.

Thanks All I know is "Admiral Yi's Show" will aired in Ch. 63 (NYC) this Saturday. You had to wait the week after this one. The first reruns will aired on Nov. 6 on Ch. 17

Hi guys,
I hope I have some Korean speakers out there. I decided to tape the whole series, and like an idiot I forgot to tape episode 2. I recently discovered toward the end of AOW, that ch 17 airs an episode a day, at least. Like the Saturday night episode airs Sunday morning, Tuesday evening, Wednesday afternoon... So I'm hoping someone knows if episode 2 of Admiral will air some time today on 17. HELP!!!

The episodes were aired on both Channel 17 and Ch.63, at the same time. I really sorry that you missed the first 2 episodes of YSS.

oma don't worry a lot of faithful fans tape the show - maybe you can get a copy and if you live in new york, you can go to any korean video store and rent the first two translations are on the board

Thanks for the info. I haven't missed any actually, I was going to tape it to keep. I'm in the Bronx. Does anybody know of a Korean video store here? You're probably talking about Flushing, right?

ANNOUNCEMENT: I'm not affiliated with KBC or KBS in any direct way, so this isn't official, but this is what's going on from what I've been reading and hearing so far.
Korean video rental businesses in NY have joined their voices to protest current programming schedule of KBS America. It is too close to the broadcast schedule of Korea (About 3-4 weeks apart?) and they're complaining that they're losing business because of it. KBS America has responded by HOLDING most of major dramas and other popular programmings for three weeks. I know it's all very sudden, and I'm sure some of you are disappointed with this. This means many Korean stations across the U.S., including Chicago KBC 28, and KBS America cable channels should be airing whatever programming they could find to fill up the time slots for about next 3 weeks.
I hope that answers some of your questions.
Good day.

Good day. sighs. thank you michael for the warning. it is a major disappointment and out of respect for you i will say no more than that. we k-drama fans are having to learn patience. but the dramas are worth the price we have to pay. and so it goes.......

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? When does this actually start? Just when I'm getting comfortable with this drama series. they lucky they didn't pull this stunt when AOW was on or riots would've happen all over NYC.
