Hasib, That's an interesting list. Your choices are very different from almost everyone else's. Which raises the question, WHAT DO WE MEAN WHEN WE DESCRIBE SOMEONE AS A KICK A** WARRIOR?

Hasib, That's an interesting list. Your choices are very different from almost everyone else's. Which raises the question, WHAT DO WE MEAN WHEN WE DESCRIBE SOMEONE AS A KICK A** WARRIOR? yes it was. i think that "kick a**" means strong and badass. so i also think hasib's list was rather different than everyone else's. {which is not a bad thing by any means} for instance: uijong wasn't that powerful, his mind was completely corrupted by wine, geishas, and banquets thrown by corrupted eunuchs and aristocrats. he enjoyed subak, but that didn't mean he could fight. sure he held a sword to chung jungbu's neck, but chung {who had honor at that time} wouldn't dare make a move against uijong. still, he without any doubt, could've snapped uijong in half if he wanted too. another odd thing on your list, hasib, was chung jung bu himself. he was an honorable warrior in the first few episodes, but as the show moved on, he was nothing more than an evil 70 year old man, who relied on plots, and backstopping, not unlike choe chunghun. but unlike cch, chung jungbu was a man who i can still respect, since he rose up the ranks on his own. {a peasent becoming the supierer general of the imperial army on his own, is something worth respecting. let alone becoming the head of the elder council, or imperial guardian} what really confused me was how choe chunghun was #1, and i would like you to give me an explanation, if possible.

I have to give it to the women, the warriors seen to raise or fall with their opinion. Starting with the emperior's grandmother. Lets not discount the evil ones.

I also drool over Olan's body. But, this is the "10 all time kickass warriors" thread, so i don't think there would be too many women. anyway, welcome to the board.

hell yeah she was. i mean, i would be cut in half too if i was there! i think all warriors who fought her looked at her chest, instead of her sword.

You are crazy bro! By the way, thanks for the ROTK tip in GENERAL a couple of weeks ago. My copy just arrived and I'm all geeked up about it. Never saw it before. You have my gratitude! ;D

I know that I've already responded with selections, however, these are my revised top ten (plus 2):
12. Cho We Chong 11. CCH 10. Kim Ja Kyuk 9. Huh Seung 8. Brue 7. Choi Bu 6. Kyung Dae Sung 5. Che Won 4. Yi Ko 3. Yi Ui Bang 2. Du Kyungsung 1. The Archfiend (of course)
I've expressed my admiration for the Viceroy in his life and his death. CCH cannot be ignored in a top 12 discussion because of his position of historical prominence, and the fact that he arose to this position from a military foundation. Brue falls in ahead of Huh Seung because they both lost to KDS, and Choi Bu is just ahead of Brue because he fought Brue to a draw, but never lost to anyone, head to head. Ui Bang comes in ahead of his sworn brothers because he is the most magnetic personality represented by any warrior in this series. Du Kyungsung in front of Ui Bang because he was portrayed as the Archfiend's rival. If he can match the most powerful warrior, it follows that he is more formidable than all except Yi Ui Min.
I know that Chung Jung Bu was a great warrior in his own day, however, there were many who could have made such a claim.

Umm... sounds great. Are you saying that Yi Tae Jong is the baddest? Sounds like a good case, except that the warriors on this thread have to have appeared in AOW. (It's possible that I have not yet seen him if he does appear. I am in Philly, and we are about to see episode 132.)
