I have heard many good things about this drama. We have not had the pleasure of viewing this drama in Chicago. I don't know if we will. So, I'll just have to buy it when it is out. I think I posted this link for the DAMO DVD with subs somewhere in here but I can't find it. So. here it is again. subbed Damo link

I am subtitling 'Female detective Damo' and Episode 1 is almost finished. It must be ilegal to distribute Damo with subtitles via web so I am going to share the subtitles only via a P2P program called eDonkey(eDonkey is an application that allows you to share and download files with millions of other people across the globe) Episode 1 of Damo with english subtitles has been up on the internet for download for months now. Just got to know where to look. For me I am waiting for the dvd set from Yesasia.

We were lucky to see Damo w/Eng. subs in Hawaii. I taped the entire drama as I liked it so much. I'm going to buy the DVD set when it is offered (I think it's coming out w/Eng subs next month). I hope you folks get the chance to see it.

I can't imagine what else you'd possibly want, Misato! Except the DVD. The subtitled version of which is apparently running out of stock, soon. (See Chigirl's link above, which I have repaired.) Bo

Because if you are, it has aired in Chicago, I think it aired after Phoenix (that was the show after The Great Jang Geum). It was short, like 14 episodes, but it was good though.

My question is are there different English versions of this? I see the YesAsia set listed as a Limited Edition for the U.S. I also see it selling over at dvdempire.com for much less ($62.79 + about $2 shipping). Save version?

I beleive that one in dvdempire is the original one. YesAsia is seeling the deluxe edition that has pictures and a nice box..i think...other than that thanks for introducing dvdempire...it's wayyyy cheaper than YesAsia :-)
WOW uk fan...long time no see, school has been kicking me in the bootay! Midterms, papers, and weddings! anywho i am suprised u finished really quickly..wished i own it cuz the stupid station i watch it on has many technical diffculties...say not having audio and having no connection? Hello corkyz...nice to see you back here too! I tell you what, I am glad my college days are behind me. I guess you have a while to go before you get your degree(s). Good luck anyway, enjoy yourself while you can. I can confirm that student's life is by far easier compare to the real world (a large mortage and a car loan to pay, credit cards to service and relationships....did I say relationships? Yep, I did..haha!) ;D Yep, I finished watching Damo last weekend and as I have posted earlier, I am Damoed! I am totally hooked on K-dramas (period). I am not to sure about modern dramas as they are too close to real life...too close for comfort if you know what I mean. Life can be fun and equally it could goes again you! ;D My Damo DVD set is from YesAsia and it seems fine to me. I like the storyline, the quality acting and fantastic cinematography...hey, I am easy to please! But all in all another great K-drama. What next? I can't wait for The Immortal Yi Soon Shin to be released on DVDs - have you got any idea when it will be available? Till next time..... PS. Enjoy your college life and go forth and get your degree(s)...I managed 2; including an Honest Degree in Food Science and an MBA. NB. I am not trying to impress you but merely to impress upon you that we Chinese can achieve what we set out to do. Among all the immigrant groups in UK, the Chinese perform best in schools and Universities and from what I have read the same is true in the US and Canada! .... just something for you to think about ;D PPS. Remember, the 21st Century is China's century! and if I were to give you one advice, it would be, learn Chinese (Mandarin)! PPS. Of the 30+ million overseas Chinese which include you and I, we are or will be contibuting to China's success! PPPS. Sorry, I got a little bit carried away there! ;D ;D uk fan
