There are three theories right? One is the conventional one we all know, the other is that Taejo steals the throne from the Hae's and retroactively names Jumong "Go Jumong" to legitimize his reign, and the third theory is that Yuri usurped the throne which Taejo, a descendant of Jumong, took back.
Either way, it is indeed strange why the sixth King is called Taizu/Taejo.

excelsior may be working from one of those Korean-to-Chinese-to-English translations in which all the names show up as Chinese style, truth--I don't think he was trying to be disrespectful.
Personally, when I get one of those translations it confuses the heck out of me. lol...

King Taejo would make a good drama .
I am probably wrong here but after Muhyool's death the throne passed to a younger brother who in turn was removed by a nephew and i cannot remember how Taejo comes to power ,yes could check Wikipedia but that is often wrong and Truth probably rather without a doubt has the correct version .

You're right according to the History of the Three Kingdoms, but wrong according to Memorabilia of the Three Kingdoms. HTK : King Minjoong was King Daemushin's brother. He was removed by his nephew King Mobon. MTK : King Minjoong was King Daemushin's 5th son. He was removed by his big brother King Mobon Du Ro killed King Mobon and tried to enthrone Go Jaesa, the father of King Taejo. Go Jaesa refused to become king, because he was too old. Du Ro enthroned his 7 year old son Go Goong as a result, who was known as King Taejo after death.

Because you would get the armor and costumes right in conjunction with Truth and you would be great for the story boards .

I remember there was talk a few years ago about making an Onjo and Biryu drama but it didn't happen. So is it still being planned or has been scrapped?

I loved Jumong, it was the first Korean drama I ever watched and got me hooked on them. My husband and I got attached to all the characters very quickly and raced through the 81 episodes. We never got tired of Youngpo and his stupid antics. I loved the costumes and jewelry that the women wore. Soseono was my favorite character--she was a tough woman who went into battle and helped found 2 different kingdoms. Jumong's first wife Ye Soya was kind of a wimpy sad character! The actor who played the Prime Minister is great. I've seen him in a number of dramas (Emperor the the Sea, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, etc) We thought the sequel "Kingdom of the Wind" was kind of disappointing. It did not get interesting until the last 10 episodes or so. Interesting casting having Song Il Gook play Jumong's grandson. The DramaFever version had weird subtitles using English words I've never heard of. I love the Jumong OST and was able to buy it from someone I know in Korea. I look forward tow atching Jumong again someday now that I have a better appreciation of Korean dramas.
