Wow....what an ending. Not at all what I expected. (...muffled sob... ) My husband truly disliked this drama, but I had to watch it. I'm not totally thrilled with the ending (I felt more info should have been divulged) and .... well, I won't ruin it for others, but if this ever comes to Channel 28 and is subtitled - I think you'll like it. He got her drunk and sold her to a club but ends up feeling bad for her and goes back to get her. What? Sold her to a club? Aigu! Darn it, it really does sound like a good drama, but I'm so disappointed that they didn't subtitle it. When the first airing of WML was going on, I remember watching three subtitled shows a week! And now all I have is the crappy MPC and WML which I love, but still.

Alright, after watching today's episode, I now know that Moo-Hyuk doesn't know how to read or write Korean well (I also realize now why he was reading the ad on the train out loud and slowly back in episode 2), so how does he know how to speak it so well?
POSSIBLE SPOILER...
The scene where he and his sister are in the washroom and she was scrubbing herself and he comes to help, were they talking about her rape? I know it's an emotional scene and I just like to know what exactly was going on.
THANKS!

Possible spoiler.........
No, some men had manhandled her that day but they were stopped before they got any futher. Moohyuk is trying to help her "wash clean" of their kisses, etc. BTW, the gf he was shot trying to protect is who taught him Korean which is not the best...it's more along the lines of a child and his speaking is definitely without the honorifics required in polite society. ;-)

I meant his written Korean is childlike, not his verbal. :-)

...I was shocked at the ending of this drama. It was entirely unexpected...it was the most dramatic ending I've seen in a Korean drama.
I just hope there aren't "copycats".... :-(
In spite of it's sadness, I was captivated by this drama. Probably because it was the most unique one I've seen in a while.

When Moo-Hyuk and Eun-Chae were at the subway, Eun-Chae gets a call from Yoon and rushes home, what were they talking about and why did she want to leave for Africa? THANKS in advance!

Min Joo told Yoon that Eun Chae is in love with him. He was asking Eun Chae if it was true and saying how could that be when they're practically like siblings. To convince him that it's not true, Eun Chae tells him that she already has someone.
Eun Chae is confused about her feelings for Yoon & Moo Hyuk. She starts thinking that it'd better if she left and went somewhere really far where no one could find her. She asks her sisters what place is really far away and hard to get to. Her sister says Africa.

sorry, but what's the airtime for this show? Monday's & Tuesday's @ 10:30am. Unfortunately, you're catching it halfway. Episodes 7 & 8 air this week and it's a 16 episode drama. It's the best drama of 2004, IMO, though.
