Omg.. that's not fair. Is this airing in California with subtitles? Anyone out there willing to let me stay with them for a couple of months? ;D
I'm already watching the drama but a subtitled version would be nice. Sung Yuri Rules!

In an extremely bogus move by MBC they're abruptly ending The Prince's First Love in order to accommodate the Olympics.

Yes, “Prince’s First Love” started last night in L.A., *with* subtitles. I wasn’t sure at first that I’d take a liking to this new romantic comedy-drama, but last night’s episode was charming! So far at least, this one looks like a winner. Bummer, though, that I messed up on the VCR and had the d*mn thing shut down midway through the first episode! Entirely my fault, too (brain fade: I set the timer to end at 10:10 when I *should* have set it for 11:10). At least I got home and noticed that it wasn’t running, so I quickly restarted it and only ended up missing about 15 minutes of the middle. But, don’t you just know it! This is the first K-drama I’ve taken an immediate liking to in quite a while, and here I go messing up the recording! In an extremely bogus move by MBC they're abruptly ending The Prince's First Love in order to accommodate the Olympics. What? Ending it early? Or are they merely postponing the series for a few weeks while the Olympics are under way? Be a big disappointment if this cute show gets abruptly terminated to accommodate some sporting event!

The Prince's First Love was originally going to be 20 episodes. However, MBC decided to end it on episode 18. Episodes 15 & 16 aired this week in Korea which means that the drama will end next week.

Yeah, there a lot of dramas (miniseries) that are only 20 episodes or shorter. That's actually one of the reasons why I prefer the miniseries. KBS The Legend of the nine-tailed fox, episodes 7 & 8 aired this week in Korea, will only be 16 episodes long. MBC Damo, which aired last year, was only 14 episodes long.
Will this air in NY? I have no idea. It just started in LA, like mikey mentioned, and it will start next weekend in Hawaii. Those are the only places I know that are or will be airing this drama.

He was on (very) briefly in episode one, and he looked like one seriously hard-nosed Korean businessman!

knov1, the women in your avatars/sigs never fail to impress me lol .. yeah they always impress me too. The girl in my avatar is Kim Tae Hee. The pic is from the KBS drama "The legend of the nine-tailed fox". The girls in my sig are Sung Yuri (on the left) and Ha Ji Won (on the right). Sung Yuri works in the The Prince's First Love. I think her and Han Ji Hye are the cutest girls in Korea.
