Yeah, what did happen to Mimi? I guess that's just another story that goes into the pile of "Mysterious Plot Lines" along with the Bandaid story and especially the "Who sent that text message 'Do you know that your husband is with another woman right now?'" to Hee-soo the time where Jin-kook was having dinner with Young-lan. i hope they don't do that to the storyline of who spread the rumor about jeehae on the discussion board... and didn't mimi's grandmother end up being the one to take custody of her? and occasionally she visited jae-min's house and stayed with them for a few days. the last i remember was mimi's grandmother having to visit some relatives out of town so the grandmother took mimi with her...

Ah, so, that's what happened. Thanks, Betty B.
Not a very satisfying denouement, is it. What did I expect, I wonder.

WOW, I totally forgot about that text message! That is a gaping hole. And how about those two starving orphans that Jee-min-mom used to take care of? I think we were probably meant to assume she has continued to look after them, because once she mentioned to her husband or JM that she was going off to do so that day, but we'll never know for sure, will we?

Yep, we'll probably never know unless we go bug the writers. But they'll probably say, "We don't know either." I guess it's just random storylines brought in to make the drama more interesting as the main storylines were dragging. MPC/MLF is officially known as the drama with the most unrealistic storylines.

Maybe, but my vote still goes to Winter Sonata. A person loses their memory then gets a whole new life/personality implanted? I don't think so. Bo

I can't see a thread about unresolved plot lines w/out mentioning The Phoenix's ep. where...man, I can't believe I forgot her name already...the main girl's sister steals the huge was of cash, is about to pay and yet still walks out with a huge purchase. That will always be #1 in my book.

Man, that was annoying. Bo

LOL...I also wondered how Ji-eun paid for those shoes. Her sis, Yeong-eun stole the money to go out to buy a new dress, purse, and get her hair done at the salon. So we know Ji-eun couldn't have paid for those shoes because she was going thru her purse like a madman. That's when evil Mi-ran comes in. Along with Will. And the next scene is Will, Mi-ran, and Ji-eun walking....carrying tons of shopping bags. So who really paid? We may never know

Didn't she max out her credit card to pay for the stuff or something?
I thought that Jinkook's female coworker with a crush on him sent the text message but the writers didn't want her to be evil so they just dropped it.
But don't take my word for it since I'm not an inscrutable daily-drama writer.
