In the beginning, Hee-soo told her father-in-law that she would be a good daugher-in-law and serve her parents-in-law. This was at the time when JK's dad found out about HS's house and how she was going to pay back all that money. I think HS did want to live well with her in-laws, but not anymore because of all the stress her in-laws are putting on her. I think HS and JK should move out b/c HS has been really depressed lately. And HS pregnant and pregnant women should not be put under any difficult situations. JK, who seems clueless lately, should listen to his wife or at least have a conversation with DD and ESM to take it easy on HS.

ITA. all this stress that ESM and jin-kook's father are putting on hee-soo could really affect her baby. Hopefully, the writers aren't going to let anything happen to her baby. Her father-in-law really should stop listening to the manipulative ESM. She's acting this way because she's jealous of the trust that JK's father has in Hee-soo and i guess that threatens her territory. once again, it seems like he's forgotten that she ran away with all his money. anyways, yes, they should definitely move out.
did anybody notice that ESM didn't really seem sorry at all that she didn't let hee-soo explain? she kinda just brushed it off. she seeems sooo fake when she's telling JK's father that hee-soo has no respect for them anymore. i also couldnt believe it when she made up some of the conversation she had with hee-soo's mother...
anyway, back to HS's baby, i really hope they don't make her have a miscarriage. i mean, it was pretty sad and bad enough when ji-hae miscarried and became infertile...

she needs to talk to her mother in law and work things out. not run away from her problems.

They should move out as soon as possible. ESM is cunning and manipulative, using Hee-Soo to take care of Jin-Soo when she and Golfer Dad are out. ESM manipulates Dad into turning against Hee-Soo for not being there for them, as though she deserves to be called "Mother". Here she as a step-DIL who is pregnant, but has no "motherly" feelings toward her well-being.
Jin-Kook will still be a jerk if her stays home. As long as he yearns for his father's love and his MIL's acceptance, he will not be able to give Hee-Soo the attention that she deserves.
I especially liked the scene when Jin-Kook told Hee-Soo not to make dinner since his parents and Jin-Soo went out, and he wasn't hungry. Hee-Soo sadly mentioned that she just didn't exist to cook for those 4 people, but for herself as well. What about her being hungry, and pregnant as well? Why not her husband and in-laws seeing that she was well-fed?
They just don't treat her well, but more as a maid to cater to their own needs.

on sooooo many occasions Hee-soo HAS tried to talk with ESM ... to no avail. ESM has preconcieved notions that go beyond negotiation.... like when she was told about the babytitting arrangement... her comment...'really? ... I'm sorry" ... Sure, that SHOULD erase the nasty comments she made to Heesoo..not so much. talk about running away from her problems... isn't that exactly what ESM did? plus took the money, plus causing so much stress that her husband was in a coma for how long? plus walking out on Jin-soo? and NOW, ESM is concerned because Jin-soo was sleeping on the floor. What a great mom! If Hee-soo and JK get their own place, ESM won't have anybody to rag on. And if ESM runs away again, who will tend to the homefront? Heesoo has put up with enough... sign that lease and get out of Dodge...

If Hee-soo and Jin-kook do move out, I think they will have a lot more time for each other. HS is always so busy looking after Jin-soo and doing housework while ESM and DD go out golfing . If HS and JK are living on their own, it looks like ESM and DD are going to have to put on aprons and start cleaning and I love how DD looks with an apron on...it's hilarious ;D! ESM and DD need to realize that HS has done a fine job taking care of the household. If they lose HS, it is bad for them. So if they want to keep her there doing what she has been doing, they need to treat her a whole lot better than they do now. But I still want HS and JK to move out because they need some time together alone. JK's been so busy at the office and HS has been home depressed lately.

They don't have, nor will they have the loving support of these parents who are so self-absorbed that they notice when Hee-Soo isn't home or making them dinner. ESM has done nothing to help Hee-Soo prepare for the birth of her baby such as buying a crib, baby clothes, etc. ESM only cares whether she'll have HS there to care for Jin-Soo while she establishes a new life with Golfer Dad.
I think Hee-Soo is beginning to feel taken advantage of, but is too nice to "upset the apple cart" by making her own needs known.

The only nice thing ESM did for Hee-soo was buy her a maternity dress. But yeah, ESM doesn't even seem really excited about HS's pregnancy. Neither does DD. I thought DD would like go all out and start buying baby stuff, but he would rather go golfing with ESM. JK didn't even seem to be excited about the baby anymore. It's like the excitement died down. I loved how in "One Million Roses" when Hyung-kyu learned that his wife, Hae-ran was pregnant, he came in the kitchen shaking a baby rattler...it was cute.

to tell you the truth i forget sometimes that she is pregnant. i think the writers should have her showing or something by now. it would make the pregnancy more realistic.

yes they should move out,how could any man come home day after day and see his pregnant wife so unhappy and not be willing to do something about it. this sitiuation reminded me of min-jae and yu-jin of OMR so much that I re-watched the episode in which min-jae delivered the notes inside the candy jar.this episode was every bit as touching without subtitles as it was with them.I wonder if jin-kook would come up with something like this to get hee-soo back if she left. here is a link to the soompi site where you can watch that episode or any other one that you wish. episode 147 is the one that I am refering to,it is in the left hand column. www.soompi.com/media/show.php?show_id=71

they should move out. evil step mom is treating hee-soo like a maid. what is wrong if she goes out. does she have to be there just to wait for parents to come home and cook and clean for them. evil step mom should be happy that they took her back and hee-soo is being niice to her.

What I want to see is ESM cooking dinner for the whole family once in her life. It would be nice if HS and ESM would cook a meal together, but I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon. ESM needs to realize that she needs to start doing housework for once in her life since her DIL is pregnant.

props to JK for at least getting them a secret getaway for the weekends... still sucks that they can't really move out though. JK said they couldnt really move out at this time... i wish he would say why.. like a specific reason.
anyways, the scene when JK brought Heesoo to the secret getaway was pretty touching... but why do i get the feeeling that somebody like ESM and JK's dad will find out?? i hope not tho.,...

Aw c'mon, aren't you all being a little harsh on ESM? She's just being the person she always was--unappreciative, self-centered, manipulative, greedy, jealous.
Jinkook does his best, but he spent most of his life being introspective and suspicious, so he's doing okay with what he's got.
I find Hee-soo's about-face a bit more disturbing. She went from wanting to be the girl who would sacrifice her life for her family to little miss 'what about me!'.
Also, its not like her own parents pay that much attention to her being pregnant either. Did her own mother go to the doctor with her, get her fresh foods, maternity clothes, vitamins, etc? In Korea the man's family is thought to have higher status, but when it comes to taking care of pregnant women and babies, the woman's family usually provides some support too. Its a little odd that the mother who claims to have sacrificed her life for her family pays so little attention.
My point is that ESM is the only one whose character maintains internal consistency and who doesn't seem to have Attention Deficit Disorder. I'm rooting for her redemption...
