(I'm rooting for his ex. This new chick is crazy, and not half as interesting.)

I hated Young-lan so much when she first came on the scene, but I have to hand it to the writers, at least for this character they have outdone themselves. They gave her a back story (even without the stuff she revealed about her awful [nonlovely] family last night) that managed to make her sympathetic. That was a big feat to pull off. She is very interesting and we now know a lot about how she got to be kind of a bitch, for which I simply cannot blame her anymore. The fiancee gives me the creeps. How about her threatening to take EUN-SOO's son away to her parents' if his ex-wife bothers her again? Kidnap much?

I think it'll be fun when Eun-soo's fiance (can't remember her name) goes crazy. We know it's coming. I can see why the fiance threw the sushi, though. Young-lan was back to her condescending self, trying to make the fiance feel inferior. But that was really awful of her to ask Ji-woong those questions.
You know Eun-soo's mom will NEVER like Young-lan if she finds out she broke the glass.

i have a feeling that the moment younglan move on eun-soo will want her back, clearly the feelings is still there. but unfortunatly eun-soo will marry junghee for reasons unknown junghee is nuts plain and simple...and he's crazy for laughing off the fact that she promised to kid nap HIS son if he didint get rid of his ex wife...i'll never understand this story

Wow....Jung-hee really lets out her anger in episode 118 ! Even Eun-soo was surprised with her outburst. Eun-soo really needs to make up his mind. I know he still loves Young-lan, but doesn't know what to do because of his mom and Jung-hee. Jung-hee is really scary sometimes. She has that innocent face, but who knows what she's capable of. She also has those glassy eyes when she walks around and that little, scary smile on her face.

She would've probably let it hit her and then she would've played the martyr game because his ex his her with sushi (nevermind that she threw it first).
I still don't think that Eunsoo will marry Junghee. I think toranaga said it first, that KBS, the family drama station, would never have a man leave his ex whom he still loves (and who still loves him) for a crazy woman. Younglan and Jungae are going to work things out, prompting Eunsoo to work them out with Younglan and they will remarry. Of course, Junghee may have to actually go crazy first.

The only thing I don't like about this story line is the fact that they are using such a traumatic incident for Jung-hee to "go crazy" from. She was in a terrible accident, it was perfectly normal for her to break down because of it. People do recover completely from these things, and I think this storyline just illustrates the stigma that people labor under when they have a psychotic break caused by outside factors. I think it would have been better to just have her be a crazy lady, like Mi-ran on Phoenix, rather than giving us this line of causation. In fact, if they had said that she was in the terrible accident where children died and she DIDN'T break down, that would make more sense to me, because that would not be normal behavior.
My $.02, as gal-ck is wont to say.

I mean, would we react the same way to her outbursts if we didn't know that she suffered from a psychotic episode? Somehow I don't think so. I think we might even root for her fighting for "her man."

I don't know about that either. I mean, she's not too interesting of a character - the writers have specifically kept from humanizing her. She never speaks; no one really likes her (even Heesoo doesn't like her!).
While I agree with you that we would probably see it differently otherwise, I think that since she's such a silent character, we would see it as odd still that she would respond in such a way because it's such a break from her character.

I also don't think Eun-soo will marry Jung-hee. Or actually, I don't want him to. A lot of people have said that at first they didn't like Young-lan, but now she's not so bad. I also think that. Young-lan is a lot better for Eun-soo. I don't see much affection between Eun-soo and Jung-hee....hmmm, how about that one scene when Eun-soo was lying his head on Jung-hee's lap and Young-lan came in with Hee-soo and said that she'll kick him if he doesn't get up ;D?! Eun-soo told his dad one time that he doesn't love Jung-hee, but he wants to love her .

i personally think that younglan deserves better than eun-soo. she dosent need to put up with his mother for the rest of her life and at this point it dont look like eunsoo will stop living under his mom's foot .

maybe the fact that jung-hee is such a quiet character is why eun-soo's mother likes her so much. jung-hee can be like her own personal puppet and whatnot. and just like hachuie, i am soo rooting for the ex. at least she has character (although such a bitch in the beginning). jung-hee's quietness kind of creeps me out. makes me wonder when she'll snap. kinda like when she threw the sushi at YL; only it'll be much worse...
