last night i saw a part where eun-soo's ex told jae-hae mom that her mom was a virtual slave to her father and how she would never live like that. she went on to say that she loved her husband but she would never be his servent.
i think she's very cold and she need a hug. but then again i think that she has a right to want to be independant. every one in the show portrays eun-soo like this all around good guy who could do no wrong. they really dont know what he could have been like in the u.s sittin around with no job while she's working all day and taking care of a child.
dont take this as me trashin eun-soo...i like him. but if he wanted to stay home all day and write then he should have married a different woman.

I just looked it up on Koreanwiz--it was either Yu-kyung or Yu-jin (one of the Suh sisters). I think it was the latter.

I really hope there's happiness for Eun-Soo and Jung-Hee because they have a common bond in seeing that Eun-Soo's young son is happy. At age 32, Eun-Soo is still at home, a dreamer who wants to be an author. He doesn't seem to have the means to support a family unless he lives at home. Jung-Hee wants to be nothing more than to be a "Mom" to his son. However, Eun-Soo's father still works, but Eun-Soo's ex is an ambitious woman. It's confusing, but the ex doesn't seem to be one to stay at home taking care of her husband, her son, and her in-laws.
In future episodes, she'll play games with Eun-Soo, but she won't have much communication with her son.

I think it was the latter. ;D I thought that you were talking about Min-jae's mother (Soon-young) and her ex-husband (Peter Kang)! As for the right issue, it was Yu-kyung. Her ex-husband came and tried to take Mi-joo with him to the USA.

I have watched epi. 99 again, particularly when young-lan argues with her MIL, and I think she has a point about eun-soo marrying jung-hee and being unhappy. she is also right on about her wanting a housekeeper so she can go around minding other people's business. young-lan is also influenced by the way her mother lived with her fathers family, she slaved for them and probably couldn't complain, observing this had to have a part in forming her personality.even though she seems cold,I think there is a warm loving person in there somewhere. CHOI YOUNG-LAN FOR PRESIDENT
