I think that, while Hee-soo might have started out with the best of intentions, what she's doing is gradually corrupting her - not in an evil sense, but she keeps doing things "for the family" and they're becoming easier and easier for her now - remember when she found it darn near impossible to lie to people in the beginning? So, no matter what her motives *were*, now they're somewhat different, less pure, more selfish, or just possibly habit.
And, yo, small women can be quite frightening. They're quick, with the sharp nails and the sharp teeth. Also, their voices are way screechy. Careful or she'll come after you!

Hee-soo, I think, is desperately trying to make things right so that she and Jin-Kook can start a family. I don't think she's manipulative and cunning like her mother-in-law, but doing anything she can, in this dysfunctional family, to make it normal for the children she wants. Hee-Soo is nothing like her brother's ex who is manipulative and cunning. i think hee-soo is worse than her ex sister in law for the simple fact that her motives are hiddin. im sorry but i dont think how having the esm back in everyone's life will make things better. she treated jin-kook like crap and the fact that jin-kook can lead a normal life and her kid cant will make everything worse.

It kind of reminds me of Al Pacino's character in The Godfather. At first, he was uneasy about the "job" his father had and he didn't agree with it. He did not want to be like his father, but once he became the godfather he ended up doing worse things than his dad. I'm annoyed by the fact that even though people tell her not to interfere, she turns around and does it anyway, like you all have said--behind their backs. Maybe her character just isn't well written, but the good feelings I once had toward her character are all but gone now. And, yo, small women can be quite frightening. They're quick, with the sharp nails and the sharp teeth. Also, their voices are way screechy. Careful or she'll come after you! Just like the Yakuza. You never see them coming and then BAM! they've killed you four times before you hit the floor (I remembered this line from Principal Skinner's mom of the Simpson's)

You never see them coming and then BAM! they've killed you four times before you hit the floor (I remembered this line from Principal Skinner's mom of the Simpson's) Ah yes, great episode. Especially because of the man in the white suit who crashed through their window and said "Forgiveness, please." And for some reason the Yakusa reminded me that I think Hee-soo's fun like Dorian Gray (grey?) because she still *looks* sweet and innocent ... but she's got that picture hiding somewhere.

i just saw the episode where junghee and eun-soo get married. they exchanged rings but there was no cerimony, so i assumed they eloped. i was kinda dissapointed when junghee and eun-soo didint kiss. they did that lean into eachother thing like they was gonna kiss but then....a passionate hug can hugs be passionate?

They're not really married yet. They just exchanged rings. (I think they should register their marriage early too so there's no way little Miss interloper can stop them.)

Well, Eun-Soo and Jung-Hee went away for awhile, supposedly to visit her parents though we're not sure. A wedding it to take place in the future, but they supposedly exchanged vows on their own. What if Jung-Hee is pregnant? This will further complicate problems with Eun-Soo's family. He will marry Jung-Hee, as he did Ji-Woong's mother who was supposed to be pregnant before marriage. That's if I understand what's happened.
Jung-Hee is a sweet, loving person while Eun-Soo's ex is strong and ambitious. In future episodes, I think Eun-Soo will be torn between these women. If he is to get a career in life, he needs his ex to push him. Jung-Hee may just keep him dependent on his parents.

that's the way I think too sandy,overall I think young-lan is better for eun-soo than jung-hee.
with JH he may have domestic bliss but will have no career and will set a bad example for his son.
with young-lan he will not be able to live with his parent's and will probably mature.
do not misunderstand I like jung-hee but two submissive personality's will be hard pressed to deal with serious problems,if you have one weak and one strong, the weak one can draw strength from the strong one.where is any strength comming from in this union.

I agree with both of you that his ex will motivate him to leave the nest. Sometimes I think that Eun-Soo was almost forced into marrying Jung-Hee. It was an awkward situation when his mother took in Jung-Hee as a boarder, then having Jung-Hee become so close to his son. Maybe Eun-Soo, knowing that his son lacked a mother being there for him, saw an opportunity for his son. Also, his mother almost saw a match from the beginning. Eun-Soo's has it easy being at home. If he were still with his ex, he wouldn't have been able to spend his time following Hee-Soo's mother-in-law and then writing a book about his experiences.
