Hello to all you Age of Warriors regulars. I have been watching since episode 13, and am thrilled to find out that there are other people who love it too! My husband can't understand how I can enjoy it sooo much, but I look forward to it every weekend. Since I can't read Korean, I don't know any history of the show. I thought it was based on actual history, but some of the posting make me think now that it isn't. Does anyone know?
Today I am just moping around the house in mourning for Ui Bang. I thought for sure he would at least make it to his home to die, and make ammends with his wife and reveal that Kyung was his assasin. I am just so bummed that he is gone now. I really loved the way that his character could be so ferocious a warrior, yet with the ladies in his life, he could be so gentle, warm and caring. Very good actor to pull off both.
I thought it would be the last episode last night, sincealmost all of the characters from the opening credits have been eliminated! Glad to hear that they usually go about 90.

This drama is based on actual accounts that happened and people that existed in Korean history. However, some fictional content or stuff that's debatable about whether it actually happened or not can be added at times to these types of dramas (for story telling purposes I guess).
Also, I read somewhere that this drama is going to be 200+ episodes long. I'm not sure if that's correct or not though. However, I do know that it's still currently airing in Korea.

Like the empress dowager said, it was too soon to turn against Sir Yi. Kyun blew his wad. Sir Yi, was far and away the best thing on the show, with the possible exception of "The Archfiend" Yi Ui Min (I'll see how his character evolves). Ui Min lost a lot of points in my book with his abyssmal failure to take West Capitol and route the rebels, a failure that apprears to have ultimately cost Sir Yi his life. Kyun I suppose did what he had to, but he should still be killed by the central committee and the royal court as a matter of saving face and letting everyone know that this type of thing will not be tolerated. If this doesn't happen it will turn this series from a historical pseudo epic into a full fledged soap opera, albeit a very, very cool one. Obviously, Sir Yi should have had Kyun killed, Yim, and the leader of West Capitol (since Ui Min couldn't). Maybe everyone will get killed (except Muby and her personal ninja, Olin). Acording to this message board there's another season in the can, that's cool, T.V. needs more shows like this one for sure.
