yea i remember what part your talking about. he said something about how he had an unexpected child in the u.s or somethin like that.
hey i wonder if he married her because he messed around and got her pregnant?
i thought that since he hated his ex so much that they probably had a high tense romance that fizzeled out quickly after marriage.

HE only married young-lan because she was preganant with his child in the U.S which was were he did not want to be.
I don't remember what was exactly said but the gist of it was that everything he had done in his life was to please her.
young-lan hit the nail right on the head when she said that his mother ruined a good man.
I am sure someone will defend him but he is a slacker, with a degree from an american university, he should be able to get any number of job's,he probably speaks english so he could get a job teaching at a cram school-oh wait I forgot he tried that already didn't he.

Yes, there was a nasty scene between Eun-Soo and his mother. He accused her of, more or less, controlling his life. I think Eun-Soo has a special feeling for Jung-Hee, but I don't think it's passionate. Maybe Eun-Soo thought it will make his mother happy by marrying Jung-Hee, but now his mother is against it because of Jung-Hee's past emotional problems. I do think that Eun-Soo has feelings for Jung-Hee, and she for him, especially because she feels and acts like a real mother to Ji-Woong. They could be a happy family, but Eun-Soo' ex is now back home.
I guess this problem happens in all societies where a mother abandons her child, then expects to come back to resume a normal relationship with her child and the family. In my opinion, Eun-Soo should tell his ex to just "get lost" because he and his family are the most important figures in his son's life.

He still would have had time to work on his book. He's just lucky he's got a rich sister and parents that still let him live at home otherwise him and Jiwong would probably be living out of a cardboard box by the Han River. When did SIL p-off Hesoo? It might be in an episode we haven't seen yet. We're on #97.

That was mean! She's purposefully going around hurting everyone's feelings. So even if Eun-soo did want to get back with her, I think that he'd find it hard to now since she's purposefully alienated his entire freaking family. Except for Sung-ae, that is, because she's not insulted by people calling her stupid.
"Level of consciousness" wtf is that? Oh, Hee-soo, it's not your fault that you think like that, because you're not smart enough to know any different, Ms. Double-digit IQ. Yeah, that's not going to make her angry or insulted or anything.

Yeah, that's not going to make her angry or insulted or anything. LOL! You have to admit Hesoo kind of set herself up for that one. Why would she bring it up so out of the blue, "You've probably heard of my marriage." Arf? Take the attention away from yourself and center on her faults, dummy.

Oh and one more thing...
If she got the part of the inheritance she "deserved", why doesn't the cheapskate/moocher just rent a hotel room. As they put it, they are strangers now that she's divorced from the Koh family. Aiguu!

And where's all of her stuff? Maybe she's got a house secreted away that we don't know about. I could see her totally having someplace to stay but imposing on them just to prove the point that they shouldn't alienate family (Pot, I'd like to introduce you to Kettle).
Yeah, I don't get why she brought up her marriage. And why is it that whenever they're confronted with her, they go into paroxysms of deep breathing instead of saying "Hello, police? There's an unwanted intruder in my house, please come and arrest her." Because, in jail she won't be able to insult them, will she? Take that, Miss Lack-of-Tact!

I thought it was funny that Hee-soo brought up her marriage, trying to rub it in that she married a rich guy, who is also hot. I'm not enjoying the ex's presence, she just makes my blood boil. Especially since no one fights back.

lol told yall it was a mean scene
i dont know why hee-soo mentioned her marriage like that. it seemed like an insecure move on her part. but younglan is superfical she alway point out other people faults to cover up her own.
all hee-soo had to say was "hes with another woman right now...at this moment. and your sitting here talking to me. now who has the level of consciousness?"

Ah, yes, your Granny has well-schooled me in the ways of indignant disbelief.
Ooh I'm excited to see Monday's episode; remember the last one ended with Hee-soo and Young-lan walking into Jung-ae's courtyard (seemingly friends even after they'd just been insulting each other in the park).
Yelling and fighting will ensue! Maybe Hee-soo will spontaneously have a miscarriage. Maybe Young-lan will "out" Hee-soo's pregnant status to her mom. I can't wait - it's like watching a train crash.

I just get irritated because Hee-Soo's mom is so controlling. Yet, it confuses me why Hee-Soo, being pregnant, is trying to make a deal with Young-lan about establishing some kind of business. How can she trust her ex-sister-in-law who insults her so much?
It was funny how Hee-Soo made it so that her MIL and her FIL had to do housework. Golfer-Dad wore an apron to clean house, trying to make Hee-Soo aware of neglecting her duties.
Yet, I think Hee-Soo is smart. She's managed to get her husband's parents back together so that they can care for Jin-Soo. This relieves her of her duties so that she doesn't have to care for any of them. Maybe now she can concentrate on becoming a mother with needs of her own. I don't think she's that stupid but maybe smart.
