He's got to be the least favorite of my characters. This chump just doesn't know the meaning of the word priority. His daughter has just suffered a shocking and sudden loss and he wants to go fishing with some bar maid?
His mom should have wacked him with that little broom more often.

What creeped me out is that they used Ji-hae and Jae-min's theme music to show them driving in the van.
Perhaps to show that they're completely clueless??!
I am so angry at him too. Especially because he apparently thinks so lightly of starting something with a woman who a) runs the bar right in his neighborhood that he and his family visit frequently and b) is known by his wife! And what was with her "Would you like beer, coffee, or me?" comment! Bad bad woman!

And what was with her "Would you like beer, coffee, or me?" comment! Bad bad woman! And neither one of them flinched after she said that! Well, I guess he ordered her, since the next words out of his mouth were, "Let's go fishing!" But she looked so serious after saying that line I half expected her to pull out a little notepad and write down, "one order of me, table 5."

"one order of me, table 5." Hee! ;D I was kind of hoping that she looked serious because she was joking around and regretted it because Minsup (perhaps famously) tends to twist things around for his own benefit.

Yeah I agree with you galacticchick… Lol at “bar maid” and his mom really does need to wack some sense into him. ;D My only question is if Minsup has any other hidden agenda with that bar owner or if he is just messing with her mind? I think Minsup enjoys the company of the bar owner because she is always boosting up his self confidence and making him seem like he is some kind of CEO of some company. I mean his life is good his an artist and his wife is the income maker but than again he has a lot of time on his hands and maybe the bar owner is his sense of adventure. Minsup is some type of character he even stole that face cream from his wife Ji-hae brought her mom a few episodes back to give to the bar owner. What is Mr. Mouse ulterior motive? Jinsoo really called it right when he named Minsup nice Mr. Mouse but a sneaky one too.

i dunno. Minsup shoulda been called the rat instead. man, his wife was PO'd, but I'm not sure if it's because of the fact that she found out that Min-sup was STILL hanging out at the bar even though because they were in the barhouse having fun they weren't able to get the calls from Ji-hae. Cuz it seemed like before she never really cared. Just seemed to laugh it off. BUt if I were her, I'd be PO'd that he'd rather spend time with some other woman other than his own wife. I wonder if the writers will smooth out the relationship btwn the two. I'm still wondering how they ever got married in the first place cuz I see no love between the two except for when ji-hae's mom wrote the letter to ji-hae's grandmother along with the money. Yup, so there past has gotten me all curious. And if they were different when they first got married, how did they get from THERE to HERE....

She must make him feel better about himself. I consider that an emotional affair. It seems like wife is catching on, too, and I'm glad she made him sleep on the couch! She seemed so flip about the whole thing for so long, even returning to the bar with him to drink with that woman. And I couldn't understand that scene between him and the bar owner at the lake, they were talking about people going to motels. Was he trying to convince himself that he wasn't cheating, because they were just fishing?

That letter to grandma made me assume that things were different a long time ago. I still haven't figured this couple out, though. I'm sure they'll be love birds by the end of this drama, because that's the Kdrama rule: they all live happily ever after!

Yeah they might be lovebirds but I'm worried that it'll take some sort of catastrophe. That's what it (apparently) took for Jae-min's parents - catastrophe upon catastrophe. Maybe it'll take an affair for them. Or a swift kick to Minsup's butt.

Something will happen in that household in about five weeks that I'm sure will change things . . .

Hey! That's not fair! But then again, it's going to take five weeks?? I suppose that it'll take that long to resolve the current Ahn family crisis, but seriously, that's a long time for them just to be going about their business.

Maybe he'll just visit Jinsoo for five weeks. That's another thing, he knows how much Jinsoo likes him, so he could at least go visit him some more. Not likes he's doing anything important with his time anyway.

Hold on a second! Drinking at the bar and fishing are very important tasks! Not to mention trying to keep Hee-soo's dad from going to work (what was that yesterday anyway? You're not going to work long so why go to work at all?).
He's a very busy man. However, I do agree that he should be able to pencil in Jin-soo for some rainbow and mouse drawing.

Maybe less than five weeks. I just read something on KBS's English site last week, and I think they're six weeks ahead of us over in Korea.
