Hmm.. a spoiler thread but no one is posting any spoilers. I'm guessing we can just reveal info without warning? I'm not really watching this drama but I did find out one thing...
Hee Soo & Jin Gook get married on episode 34. And yes, they do develop feelings for one another.
I know it's not much but that's all I really know.

spoiler for episode......actually don't know the exact episode number...somewhere in the forties: [glow=red,2,300]WARNING:[/glow]lots of details in this spoiler! if you don't want details, a simpler version would be "jin gook begins to suspect his stepmother when he sees her hiding files" if you wish for a more detailed spoiler, proceed~ ;D =================================== NOTE: i wrote it in black in case people wanted to roast me for putting out too much info. if you're interested, highlight them and enjoy~ jin gook forces hee soo to abandon her housework and go shopping, and he soo agrees to do so as long as jin gook promises to call his stepmother 'mother' just once. she feels a bit frightened to go alone, so she asks her brother to join her. while looking around, she sees a girl she recognizes. this is the girl she saw at the restaurant with jin gook and his parents. she remembers that her stepmother called her and told her to meet her at that restaurant, but when she arrived, the stepmother responded by saying "i'm sorry, but you are..?" and the girl got offended and just left. she remembered that it looked as if she ruined the matchmaking and how she felt as if she had been tricked. wanting to know more about the girl, she asks her brother to follow her and find out more about her. when her brother does so, she realizes that the girl was not the daughter of a wealthy business man like the stepmother said, but a girl who gets paid to go on dates. Hee soo returns home to see jin soo waiting for her and she tells him that she went shopping for 'pretty clothes' and that she'll change and meet him in his room to show him. jin soo, excited, rushes to his room and decides that he wants to dress in pretty clothes too to impress hee soo. he begins to dig through his drawer and comes across some mysterious files. not knowing what they are, he begins to tear them apart to fold hee soo some hawks. his mother comes him and begins to hit him for recking and revealing her files. the family comes into the room and the stepmom quickly hides the files behind her back and rushes out to hide them...but not before jin gook sees them. although he doesn't take them at the moment, be begins to search for those files...

I couldn't help it - I had to know a little more of what was going to happen (Joanie won't let me tell her), and found a couple places to do just that. If you want good summaries for about a week ahead of Chicago, there's the California message board: com1.runboard.com/bcjkdramasincalifornia.fdiscussionHere's a nice fansite of Precious Child that has lots of spoilers (through episode #55) The link belongs in this thread because the temptation is great to visit the Summaries and Sneak Preview sections of the site: home.comcast.net/~redpanther86/MPC.htmlMy opinion is that this show is fun enough to watch that even knowing some of what's coming doesn't matter that much - it's still enjoyable to see HOW it happens!

I'm removing this spoiler (posted by PurpleTiger86) from the "Hee-soo's Brother" thread and putting it here: oooo i just had a thought of how eun-soo and jin-kook could possibly be connected.. but this isjust REAL far off but im thinking that since before jin-kook wasn't all that serious w/ relationships n he was from overseas studying so who knows what he's done w/ women blahblahblah... could jin-kook have been one of eun-soo's ex's secret lover? lol i told you guys that this was far off.. im thinking that there has to be more than the reason of eun-soo not having a job that they have a divorce.. there's got to be more to what he told his family about the reason for divorce hehe...that might be possible! This may be a possible spoiler... But...if i can remember correctly... didn't eunsoo help jingook in writing an essay for him when they were at the same school studying abroad? Coz i remember eunsoo saying something about how he typed an essay or helped him at school. And than as a joke, eunsoo was teasing jingook of being a player at the school coz he was pretty popular amongst the girls or something. (i don't know what episode some of you are on, so yah...) Anyhow...that's how i understood it, but i may be totally wrong, heh.

Does anyone know what exactly Young-sil's brother dies from? I know he was sick from something! well, he wasn't really sick... he had a sudden heart failure that was caused by him reading the letter that assistant park wrote to youngshil. In the letter, assistant park wrote something like how he is upset how youngshil is still meeting dukbae after all what the Ahn's had done to her family. He also wrote how he liked youngshil and he had done anything for her. Younggoo got shocked from reading the letter and he fainted.

From panther's response to the Hesoo's Mom thread:
Sorry panther, I don't know why it won't paste. Anyway, here's what she said.
Episode 98 SIL and Hesoo are drinking coffee and Hesoo says something about not letting her and her brother get back together and SIL tells her to shut up because nobody cares about her now that she's married. Something to that effect, point is that Hesoo looked salty when SIL told her this.

PhillyDen Guest Comatose mother needs infant « Thread started on: 01/01/05 at 10:51am »
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, am I crazy, folks, or are all the family members talking in a stressful way in the hospital room? Even Jae-min's Dad, aka Mr. Insensitive himself, knows that is the worst thing to do. If I were the nurse on duty, I'd kick them all out. (Reminds me of a time I had to do that in an intensive care unit because my patient's family was arguing over whether her face was gray or not, whether they should have to feed her cat or not, whether her house was left unlocked or not, and who should have to pay her mortgage that month!!!!!) Anyway, is this a nutty idea or what? They should be keeping the findings of surgery from her until she awakens, saying "wake up, we miss you, we love you" not "wake up, you're infertile and here is a baby we adopted for you while you slept"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- phillyden you have just commited a big chicago fan board no-no,we have a strict no spoiler policy here, episode 104 will not be seen here until monday night,we are not back to five day programming yet. personally I know a little about what is going on all the way to episode 150 but I don't post spoilers even in the spoiler thread because most board members prefer no spoilers. 24.13.91.17

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes, we haven't seen this episode yet, but this is yet another problem. Poor Jae-Hae, for the sake of making peace with her controlling FIL, submits to surgery, but the outcome is not good. The doctors had to take "everything" out. In this cliff-hanger, did Jae-Hae have cancer or some disease that would make her life miserable? Ironically, it comes at the time when her cousin, Hee-Soo, is pregnant and Jin-Kook seems amazed that he's becoming a father.
We'll have to wait until Monday evening to see what happens. 216.214.209.96

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So sorry for unintentionally spoiling for others. I am confused, though, because what I wrote about has been on for over a week in many episodes, which is why I thought it was ok to discuss it. Anyway, I'll be more considerate in the future. Thanks for letting me know. 64.12.116.9

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the part of the plot where jee-hae was going to have surgery soon has been known for over a week but not the fact that she would not wake up from the surgery, that would have been revealed in episode 104.
by the way phillyden are you guy's back to five day programming? « Last Edit: 01/02/05 at 08:11am by toranaga » 4.143.208.239

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Philly, please don't feel the need to apologize. We only see this show 3 nights a week. I tape it when I'm at work, but sometimes I miss the cliff-hangers, at the end, because of commercials. Any way, it's fascinating to speculate the outcomes.

wow i really wish chicago could catch up with philly because the show i just watched was really weird. were on 114(i think) and the episode was basically about hee-soo's mom recognizing how bad she used to treat younglan when she used to be married to eun-soo. the episode was filled with flash backs and hee-soo's mom treated younglan like dirt.
and then there was this other scene where hee-soo was talking to jung-hee and junghee basically told hee-soo the reason why she was still around was because she like to see younglan and hee-soo's mom fight. it seems like junghee is a trouble maker also (on top of being crazy)
and the final scene was with jin-kook and younglan, it was a touching and rather intimate scene. i cant help but wonder if they had a "thing" in the past. and the reference she made about her son and jin-kook have me wondering if jin-kook could be the father of jiwoong
people who saw this episode what do you think? phillyden did you see it?

looks like in the chicago episode for this wednesday, eun-soo will allow young-lan to see the book he's writing, but won't or doesn't rather, show jung-hee the book. i wonder why.
