Well so far so good. This is pretty perky. I had to laugh at how much everyone loves to talk to themselves and then gets called on it by another character. Of course it is too soon to tell about all the possible permutations, but a generally likable start.

I can say for sure that lady in the black dress and her stepson are going to be a good pair. also I think she is waiting for husband to dye to claim the money.

I agree, the characters were likable. I don't know if it was because I felt OMR had run past it's welcome, but I found this new show refreshing somehow. It's premature to say...but I think I like it.

I didn't like it so much, but I'm willing to give it a chance. What with Phoenix replacing DJG and this one replacing OMR, I miss the more old-fashioned characters who defer to each other instead of being hard-edged (this one, which is going by "My Precious Child") or spoiled rotten (Phoenix). The characters in MPC don't seem to like each other much so far. I also thought that the Expository Monologue Twins (the two mothers talking to themselves and thereby conveniently explaining their family situations to the viewers) were handled awkwardly. The production looked cheaper than OMR's, and what's with the garish logo in the lower right-hand corner of the screen? This isn't a game show, folks! Maybe I just need to get used to it. I am certainly glad to have ANY subtitled drama. I also like the horrible stepmother; what a change from her sweet demeanor with her husband to out-and-out menace with the son. She must be a good actress, because even in her first scene with the husband, when she was looking so pretty outside the house, I thought, "Uh-oh, this one is making a fool of him."

This airs Monday through Friday at 6:00 PM. I'm not sure if they are re-airing it the next morning though. I really like this drama. It kinda reminds me of So This Is Love, because it seems more of a comedy than a drama. It'll still have its dramatic bits (Trophy Wife aka Sleazy Step-mom is up to something!) but it won't be as heavy as some past dramas. I like my dramas light and fluffy. Don't worry, Lucy. I'm sure you'll like this drama too. They just take some getting used to. The girl getting married (I'm bad with names) looks like she'll give us plenty of opportunities to talk about her nice clothes, and I've already spotted a Birkin (the Lawyer had one ). And I may have found a Min-jae II -- the Goofy Gus that's getting married is pretty cute. No Min-jae, but still cute.

Noooo, jenny, nooooo! Goofy Groom is not close enough to my Min-jae. But I appreciate your trying to help me along in switching my affections over to this show. All in due course, I assure you. I do like the lawyer mom; she looks like a sensible (and fairly fashionable) lady--I enjoyed her changing into that jerkin/vest for her visit to the police station; why did she do that?--and I feel sorry for her being married to Mr. "I Don't Work Because I Don't Have to." What can they possibly have in common? Oooh, designer purse spotting early on. That's a good sign.

Noooo, jenny, nooooo! Goofy Groom is not close enough to my Min-jae. You are more faithful than I to stand by your man! I always move on to the cutest thing in the next drama. Maybe I should create a Min-jae shrine in the OMR thread, to keep the fire burnin'?
