It seems like quite a few of you don't like Eric. So What can Eric do to make you like him better? You complete the phrase.

I voted for "let me throw eggs at his car" probably still wouldn't like him but ahhh the satisfaction. ;D

I chose that I would like him better if he had dimples like Will, but I think that I would still grow weary of him eventually with those corny lines of his

I voted for let me throw eggs at his car too. ;D
It's not that I disliked Eric for any of the reasons everyone else did. I just think it would be fun to egg his car. He could just go take some of the bucketloads of money that he has and get it washed anyway.
I like Eric's character because he's a jerk and a floozy. If I actually had to deal with him in real life, though, I think that I'd draw all over his face with magic marker.

Eric's a horrible chauvinist. He uses women to stroke his own ego and disrespects their emotions. He's a legend in his own mind and apologizes to no one. He seems to enjoy winning a woman's affections just as a personal challenge, only to drop her coldly, without reason. He is incredibly lazy and annoyingly cavalier about his work position and job responsibilities. He is even sickeningly patronizing to Ji-Eun's mother---UGH! >: (He is a lower-life form, period.) I could definitely go on and on.......

Why hurt the car, when you can hurt the owner/driver. ;D ;D ;D With his millions, he can go to a bathhouse and shower off, or whatever.

You sure you want to throw eggs at him? He'd probably assume it was a come on.
Eric: Ooh, you're throwing eggs at me because you want me.
You: No, I think you're disgusting.
Eric: Disgustingly handsome? Yes, I am.
But, if you get lucky, after this exchange, he will "accidentally" get salmonella from one of the eggs. Unfortunately, you're too poor to drive him to the hospital. So sad. But at least the funeral will have good food.

Hachiue you are too funny, especially the "disguntinly handsome part" ;D. What I especially hate is his attitude toward money, since he has so much of it, he thinks that everybody else is stupid for being preoccupied with it. Yeah, it's easy when all you have to do is show up at your nice office, throw a fit, go out for a good dinner and think about how good you look.
Okay, instead of egging his car let's arrange a date between him and Sweet Lady Brick. Ouch!

I voted "...would shave," just because that lil' mustache drives me nuts! Shave it! Bleach it! Wax it! Do anything but keep it! It's like he just hit puberty and he's sooo excited. Plus, I think his step-mom is gaining on him in the Darkest Mustache contest. He'd still be slimey with or without it, but I'd feel better.

I guess there's just no redemption for ol' Eric. I cracked up at your "just hit puberty and is soooo exited" comment becuase I really do have a younger brother that refuses to shave the peach fuzz on his chiny-chin-chin because he thinks it looks cool.

I think my sister is wondering why I'm laughing so hard in the room by myself. I think she tells people her sister is nuts. But that's okay. I'll just tell them I'm reading quotes from the Phoenix board. I enjoy reading these. You all are so funny. ;D

Thanks for the compliment WinterBallad. You have to read Lucy's comments on the rice commercial, I'll dig around for it and post the link. I laughed my socks off at that one.

You all do have a great sense of humor . I love reading your posts. It really makes me laugh when someone on this board has beautifully and humorously described my feelings exactly. Eric's silly (and annoyingly sophmoric!) facial hair has driven me nuts since day one, but you all are the best at putting those observations into very funny words! Keep up the great writing!

Galacticchick, LOL!!! "Sweet Lady Brick." That's hilarious. Thanks for your compliment, too. I forgot about that rice thing. The one where the daughter is bringing rice to her father in the rice field*.
Lucy *I do acknowledge the possibility that he's, say, a wheat farmer, but it wouldn't be funny then.

Okay, instead of egging his car let's arrange a date between him and Sweet Lady Brick. Ouch! I'm on it. I'm looking for a brick disguised as a yummy pastry though. Or maybe a kimchi brick. If that's as good as everyone says it is, he won't be able to resist even if he knows it's a brick. If his teeth were all broken then he'd really have a reason for a mustache ... if it ever grew in (aside from convincingly being able to pretend he's a pirate). So, another point for the bricksnack.
