My version of Ep. 127's end/128's beginning

This is the part where Choi drew his sword, holding it at General Du's neck.

General Du’s anger flared intensely.
“Choi Choong Hon!!!” He kept saying.

Choi was the man who now held a sword to his neck. Flanked by Choi’s lieutenants, and disarmed, Du could offer little resistance.

“I’m sorry sir, but I can not follow your orders.” Choi said.
To which Du replied. “I am a Merit Subject, my command wields authority as great as the emperors. Disobeying my order is high treason…..as is holding a sword to my neck.”

They stared at each other with intense hostility. Moments later Du quickly reversed his position and lunged at Choi’s younger brother, quickly taking his sword. He had acted too fast for Choi Choong Hon to react.. However for all his brilliance, he was surrounded by Choi’s lieutenants. Instead of waiting, he struck at Choi’s younger brother, at the same time he deflected the others the best he could. He managed to kick the youngest to the ground, however he did take a minor slash to his right arm. Choi’s Lieutenant’s stood back upon hearing Choi Choong Hon’s order for his troops to attack General Du. General Du now fought for his life. He noticed that the soldiers he was fighting were a bit more skilled than the usual Imperial trooper. Never the less, he managed to strike many of them down. Slowly he made his way toward Choi Choong Hon.

“Choi you coward!! Fight me your self if you have the courage!!”

The fighting stopped, the men looked toward Choi. Fearing he would lose the respect of his underlings, he consenting General Du’s challenge. Sword in hand, he jumped into the circle. Du’s sword clashed with Choi’s sword. For minutes they fought, each gaining the occasional hit. Du finally managed to kick Choi hard in the stomach. Semi hunched over and on 1 knee, Choi deflected the back fist inbound for his head. As he deflected the punch with his arms he left his breast plate exposed. Du took advantage and quickly slashed his armor creating an open gash exposing his chest. As he did this he kicked Choi very hard in the chest, knocking on his back…..

Du now stood over Choi, this time, it was Choi who had the sword to his neck. Du was well within his rights to strike Choi dead right there. But before Du had a chance to decide, Choi’s soldiers surrounded him.

“If I must kill all of you I will!”

The soldiers took a few steps back….

“General Choi, for your crime of high treason, you should die right here by my sword….. However in light of the current situation, a division such as this would deal a swift blow to our cause. I will not kill you or destroy your clan. However, for now, until this crisis ends you and your men must leave the imperial city. If you attempt no further acts of dishonor your punishment will be light, and your clan will retain its dignity.”

Choi took little time to think. His men could very well strike General Du dead after a long drawn out battle, however his own life would be the first to go. He would not refuse General Du’s offer. This way, he could preserve some of his clan’s gains….as well as his own life.

With great reluctance he spoke:

“Very well sir, I w ill follow your order.”

General Du nodded and with drew his sword. He took the Archfiends head down, bagged it, and rode away on his horse to the palace.

General Du made his way to the palace. Upon entering, he neglected to bring his horse to the royal stables, rather, he rode strait to the chambers of the central committee. He found a Lieutenant in the Imperial Convoys on duty guarding the entrance.

“Lieutenant!!” General Du shouted as he made his way up the steps.
“Yes sir?” The Lt. Said.

“Summon the junior leaders of the military here to the central committee immediately.”

The Lt. Saluted General Du and ran off to complete the task handed to him. General Du summoned the junior leaders as the senior leaders were with the Emperor. He wondered how the leaders would react to the Archfiend’s death as he strolled into the central committee chambers. He began to walk around, recalling the times he had spent there over the years. He recalled countless arguments with Chung Kyun, specifically over Yi Ui Min’s “crimes”. He defended the Archfiend countless times against the accusations of treason…..in the end he was wrong. Worse yet, he allowed the Archfiend to escape when he attacked the Imperial City.

The leaders now assembled , leaders from all military branches of the military, the regulars, the Yongho Guards, the Ungyang Guards and the Imperial Convoy’s junior leaders were now assembled. General Du informed them of the Emperors command to destroy the Archfiend. To add to the shock he took Yi Ui Mins head out of the bag and placed it on t he table. Their loyalty to the Archfiend now disappeared and accepted General Du’s command with out incident.

The Convoys would, like always, guard the palace. Te Imperial Army and the Yongho guards would guard the city gates, and the Ungyang guards would remain in reserve in case an emergency should arise. General Du now controlled the Imperial City, the Chois were gone, nobody contested his authority.

General Du had all but finished the troop deployments from the Central Committee when he received word.

“Sir, General Yi Ji Soon has attacked the convoy escorting the Emperor back to t he Imperial City. He now escorts His Majesty…”

General Du simultaneously stood up and slammed his fist into the table…

“WHAT?”
