so, had he not been so ignominiously slaughtered at mt. nita, what do you think would have happened. luvsarchfiend, i expect you'll spearhead this one... do you think? ;D he would have gotten many more men and trained them at mt mita. during this time, he would be working very hard to be a good man, and gaining the respect and trust of the people. he would listen to them and what they needed, wanted and desired, and would find ways to help them, even before the uprising. when the army was trained, he would march to the imperial city with gen choi bu and brue by his side and send emperor big nose packing. he would become the imperial dragon as intended, make bu-yong his empress, make life wonderful for the people and die at the age of 100 being the best ruler the country ever knew. and a very happy man too.

okay, luvsarchfiend, this is for you. jump in whenever...
Scene: Mt. Mita...
Observing the makeshift altar at his feet lit dimly by torchlight, the archfiend raised his arms and shouted, "Gods of heaven and earth, I, Yi Ui Min ask forgiveness for my past transgressions and that you watch over the imperial dragon in my cause to free the people of koryo from hunger and misery!"
Before Ui Min could go on, he was interrupted by shouting from behind him. "Brother! Brother!" Sword in hand, a bloodstained and weary Brue ran up the stone path of the fort wall. "Please, Ui -min, you must flee! The imperial army is here to kill you!"
Ui-min tried to steady Brue with both hands and saw the extent of his wounds. "But your hurt!" he cried, not bothering to hide the emotion in his voice. "I won't leave you behind!"
Shaking his head, Brue insisted, "No, you must run and live, so that you may realize the grand enterprise of the imperial dragon of kaelim!"
Remembering how stricken he had been the first time he thought Brue had truly died, the archfiend grabbed his axe and shouted, "I won't leave you here to die!" Brue opened his mouth to plead with Ui min to run but before he could say anythng, they heard the sound of the imperial army closing in on them. Brue put an arm on the archfiend's shoulder and said, "Brother, I have no regrets in having spent my life serving you, and I pray that you will one day realize the grand enterprise!" Then, running, sword drawn, he ran into the midst of the imperial army soldiers.
(So LAF, does Brue live too?)

okay LAF, as you wish
to continue:
Watching Brue take on the soldiers of the imperial army, Ui min knew that it was impossible for him to fend them all off, and that to continue it that manner meant certain death for his sworn brother. Scanning the soldiers, Ui min noticed one with an axe raising his arm, taking aim at Brue's back.
"Brue!!! NO!!!"
Brue whirled around just in time to see the Archfiend jump in front of him and swing his axe at the air. He heard a chop and then saw the broken pieces of the axe that had been meant for him. With his back to Brue, the Archfiend said over his shoulder, "I said I wouldn't leave you here to die. And if we must, we'll die together, but I won't leave you."
Brue knew that this time Ui min's resolve was firm, and so he simply replied, "Thank you, Brother."
In spite of the many wounds that they received, back to back they fought the hordes of the imperial army until exhausted, the Archfiend grabbed Brue's hand and said, "I suppose this was inevitable, but I'm happy to die with you, Brue."
Brue's eyes misted over briefly as he observed the archfiend's earnest face. "And I am happy to die with you," he told his brother fondly.
Ui Min smiled at him and then faced the soldiers, waiting for one to strike the fatal blow.

As the soldiers swarmed forward, each clamoring to sever Ui Min's head, they stopped suddenly when the heard a sound coming from behind Brue and the Archfiend - it was the imperial dragon army. Their banners and torches held aloft, they ran down the stone steps of the fort and began to drive back the soldiers of the imperial army. Ui Min felt someone clasp his hand and looked up to see General Choi Bu's confident, smiling face. "Hwang Sang Baeha, forgive me for being late."
Feeling his hand becoming warm, the archfiend looked down and was shocked to see what looked like a small river of blood pouring down Choi's arm. "Choi Jang Goon! you're wounded!"
General Choi nonchalantly brushed his alarm aside, "Just a scratch, don't worry about me, I'll be fine, and so long as I'm alive no one will harm you." Then with a cry, he hurled himself into the thick of the fighting.
Feeling renewed energy at seeing his loyal friend fighting alongside him, Ui min swung his axe in an arc above his head and once again commenced hacking at the soldiers rushing him. Looking over his shoulder to make sure that general choi was alright, he saw Choe Chong Su pick up a spear - and aim for choi's back. As he hurled it, Ui Min bellowed, "CHOI JANG GOON!"
(does choi live?)

Choi Choong-hon watches as ui-min and brue keep taking out his men. he then takes out his sword but its to heavy so he falls down and his hand breaks. yi ui-min, brue and even the choi clan with the rest of the army laugh at choong-hon. then they all pass out from laughing and they start farting so loud it is heard all over koryo. all that farting makes choi choong-hon sick and dies. the end

(continuing)
Trying to stay alive, Choi Bu was suddenly startled by a thud from behind him. He knew that noise - it was the sound of a spear entering human flesh. Turning, he was horrified to see Ui Min with a spear in his thigh. Without thinking, the Archfiend had jumped between the spear and his friend. "Hwang Sang Baeha! Hwang Sang Baeha!" a worried choi bu shouted, as he tried to help Ui min up.
"I'm allright" Ui min said through gritted teeth. "Don't fuss over me." With the sounds of battle raging around them, Choi tried to pull the archfiend away from the fighting. Propping him gently against a wall, he wrenched the spear out of Ui Min's leg. He bore it in typical Archfiend fashion, merely grunting. Choi Bu turned to Ui min, a sad expression on his usually inscrutable face. "Hwang Sang Baeha, why did you injure yourself only to save me?"
Ui Min chuckled. "Choi jang goon," he replied, "all i sacrificed was a hole in my leg. You've given me so much more. Not only did you kill your own brother to return my focus to the righteous cause, but you have risked your life time and time again for me. How could I not do the same for you?"
Moved to tears, all Choi bu could say in return was, "Hwang Sang Baeha..."
Both men were brought out of their reverie by the shouts of cheering soldiers. Choi helped the archfiend to his feet and looking over the wall of the fort, they saw the imperial army fleeing with the choe clan at its head - the archfiend's soldiers close behind. As a sense of relief washed over Ui Min, so did a wave of anger. That manipulative Choe Choong Hon! He was responsible for all this. Mustering what strength he had, he shouted to his army, "Bring me Choe Choong Hon alive! I want the pleasure of separating that rat bastard's ugly head from his body with my bare hands!"
Exhausted, he turned to Choi Bu and told him, "We must return to the imperial city. If the imperial army was out to kill me, my sons are also in grave danger."
Choi stopped the archfiend. "Baeha we will return to the imperial city and find your sons, but before we do, we must tend to your wounds or you will never survive the night, and you are in no condition to ride."
Wordlessly, the archfiend nodded.
