I don't get the part at the end for sure, was he taking care of eun ha for 2 years before she woke up? I don't think he was personally taking care of her for those two years. If I remember correctly, and looking back at some of my past posts on the other threads, I think he went to go visit her very frequently but she was probably under some kind of nurses care. Didn't it keep you wondering until the very end? Is he going to be with her or not, what about the other Woojin, etc. I also loved the part about "When you wake up let's love again." and then *magic* she wakes up. I felt so bad for him as a little boy, he was so unloved until his uncle came and took him away.

yeah, now that i' had time to think about the ending, I do think she was alive this whole time, cause she did not have tubes or anything on her.....but the movie made it seem like she was dead, and then she magically awoke as soon as the guy says, "if you wake up, lets love again."
I think when he said that phrase, it was just him reaffirming that he would be by her side. i just don't get it though, because he's a priest, and priests can't have a relationship. lol unless he's just making his own rules up.
I don't know what happened to the other woojin, but he seemed too happy. i guess he was just happy she was alive. weren't they talking about her though like she was dead. ahhhh the suspense in these movies!!!
have you seen shooting stars? i' just bought that on ebay. my mom said she really liked that one. so i'm giving that a try for my next drama.
how's winter love song? I enjoyed that one. let me know how you like that one.

I'm catching up w/WLS and I really like it. Sometimes Yujin gets on my nerves because I wish she'd say something when people ask her questions, but overall I think the drama is really good.

Hey- ok, here is the scoop with shooting star....I just realized that the person who sent me the movie, sent me the wrong version. i'm so mad, because i waisted my money basically. The one that i wanted stared, Jo In Sung. I did research on the net and the one that i wanted, does not have an english subtitled release, so unless I learn korean more, i won't understand the movie. darn.!!! my mom said it was one of the most popular movies in 2002. This person who sold me this movie did false advertising on ebay.
Winter Sonata- yeah that is a really good movie, although i do agree with you. yugin, is too quiet sometimes i just want to hit her. Have you seen choi jee woo in stairway to heaven? she was the same way her character yugin was, too quiet, and don't speak when she should defend herself!!!! both guys are cute in that movie too.
I ordered the love letter soundtrack 2 weeks ago, and it still has not arrived. these people sure take their time in delivering stuff. I can't get the theme song out of my mind. lol

That's too bad. Is there any way you can return it or exchange it? That's one of the downfalls to ebay IMO, you have to rely too heavily on the sincerity of other people and then suffer when their is lack of it.
Where did you order your Love Letter soundtrack from? YesAsia always takes forever! I prefer Annyoung.com, usually you can get the items you order within a week which I think is pretty good.

Winter Love Song is over this week (no spoilers, please) and I can't wait to see all this confusion resolved. I really liked it, especially Bae Yoon's acting. What was your favorite scene in Love Letter? My favorite one was in the beginning when Eunha keeps on talking about Andrea (or Andrew depending on the subtitles) and Woojin's had enough of her talking about him and he starts hitting the tree saying "Andrea, Andrea, Andrea!" I don't know why I liked the scene so much, but I did.

Hey, how did you end up liking the ending of winter love song? it's such a great movie, one of my all time favorite movies. that guy bae youn jun is sooo cute. your right he is such a great actor. he makes you fall in love with him during the movie, oh my gosh and those eyes!!!!!
hmmm, my favorite scene from love letter/ that's a tough one....If i had to pick one, it would be the scene where eun ha is going on a date with woo jin and you could see how jealous andrew is. Then just when woo jin gets in the car, he looks at andrew, and gives him a thumbs up(saying basically wish me luck), then you see the face on andrew, he looked like he wanted to die, as he shakes his head, and has this fake smile on.
you know i just remember this one scene that i remember laughing at. there's a scene in episode 11, where andrew has a piece of gray hair sticking out. i just noticed it as I was watching, and thinking diden't anyone notice it while they were filming? How embarrasing, because it did not look right. you just wanted to pluck it out.
Woo jin, definitly is an idiot in the movie. i felt bad for him as well. I mean, how many times can eun ha break his heart, and him not realzing she does not love him. and how evil of him to try to separate eunha and andrew. that was really selfish on his part. he knew how much eunha and andrew loved each other, and he did not care, he only thought about himself.
another scene i loved is when andrew is having a heartatace, basically, when he is up with the priest, his uncle, and says excuse me, and goes in the side room and screams inside to God, saying why are you testing me. I was laughing at that part./ that part also shows how hard it is for him in deciding what to do. although he wants to be a priest, he feels like he needs eun ha too. and hes angry at God for giving him this predicament.

I really enjoyed Winter Love Song, I fell in deep love w/Bae Yon but to be quite honest I didn't like the ending too much. I mean I'm glad that they ended up together, but it was so sad that he had to lose his eyesight and that she didn't follow him to new york when she had the chance.
I remember that date scene between Euhna and Woojin. Woojin is so cute but he's kind of evil in this drama. I neve noticed the gray hair LOL. I'll have to go through my tapes. I really liked this drama because it was action packed for all 16 episodes.
We will be watching Who's My Love now that WLS is over. If you live in Chicago you'll be able to see it. Hope to see you on that forum as soon as they put it up.

I know!!!!! i was so mad when she did not go with bae, when she had the chance. A blown opportunity!!! i was so mad at her and just wanted to punch her. who does that? and then when she sees the pic of the house she designed, i think she knew bae built it, but she was not sure for sure. so she really was not going out to look for him for sure. just seeing him there was an added bonus for her. so i don't like the fact that she did not intentionally go look for him. that's not true love....but the fact that they ended up together in the end made it seem like it was meant to be. so i did like how they ended up together. man that guy is good looking. and then to make it worse, you see her with sang hyuk at the end with a kid, and your thinking, they are together, which they fool us.....and they do the same thing with trying to make us believe there brother and sister. man these dramas!!!! no, i don't live in chicago, i'm over here jersey, all by my self. but believe me i'm bound to see some other show, or even that one sooner or later. so i'm sure you'll see me someplace.

Hello, I was reading these posts about Love Letter. I work at YesAsia.com. We sell the Love Letter DVD with English and Chinese subtitles. I know I might be biased, but I LOVED Love Letter. By far the best K-drama I have ever seen. us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/pid-1003319425

:)hi hannah its great to know that there is somebody else besides me who loved Love Letter as much as i did. I also bought the DVD and loved every episode, my favorite ones are the ones at the begining when they first met and later when they were at the church and he promised to always stay by her side.
I hope you like WLS, I liked it too, though not as much as Love Letter.
