han-kye will not get on the plane becasue i beleive hye-ran will not let him. I am not sure what esp we saw in cchicago but hye-ran and han-kye get married in about 155. but what you said does clear up why people are saying he goes away for one year.

Hate to bust your bubble, HK does get on the plane and is gone for a year. Thus the fast forward a year and his return with HR waiting at the airport for him. Which starts the wedding plans even though Daddy Oh doesn't give his approval, they get married anyway.

Which starts the wedding plans even though Daddy Oh doesn't give his approval, they get married anyway. Well...not quite...it is Min-jae and Eun-ji who pick him up from the airport...officially, HK and HR have already broken up, and they have not kept in touch for one year...but Hye-ran is still working for that events company run by Manager Lee's friend, and as per In-hwan's instructions, Manager Lee is to pass on work to his friend when needed...Hyun-kyu and Hye-ran meet by accident back in Joyland, when he returns to work, and I think he walks into a meeting with Hye-ran's boss (Manager Lee's friend....) and Hye-ran is his assistant....She is still wearing the ring that Hyun-kyu give her.....Things get a little bumpy during his attempts to reconcile with her, but they do get together again......

I could be mistaken, but it looks like the series is almost over. Here's the latest episode:
"Myung-joo dares Hae-ran to live a happy life and prove that she has been wrong all along. Upon learning of her pregnancy, Yoo-jin sheds tears of joy as she clings onto Min-jae. Soon-ok obtains an approval for her marriage with Tah-ho from Soon-young, and Tae-ho if he really intends to marry her. At that, Tae-ho wears an air of innocence. On the day of Gwi-bun’s 77th birthday, Yoo-jin and Hae-ran simultaneously announce their pregnancy, turning the situation into a party atmosphere. Meanwhile, for the first time since In-hwan and Soon-young tied the knot, the entire family are gathered at the living room to pose for a family picture. At the request by Gwi-bun to hang the family picture where it can be easily spotted, the camera flashes, capturing everyone’s happiness in the picture."

In the episode where MinJae's father leaves Korea, EA goes to her sister's grave to wish HK happiness. But when EA talks to HR, she says that she wishes HR and HK unhappiness. Does that make any sense at all? I'm totally confused.

Yeah, episode 173 is the GRAND FINALE to a glorious series....Definitely one of the best ever, IMHO. And I like the fact that the series went back to focusing on Min-jae again, and not on Hye-ran and Hyun-kyu. The episodes shown this past week in Korea were truly remarkable! In the end, Min-jae got just about everything he wished for! Kwei-boon finally showed a good deal of love and affection towards him that she had held back all this time, he finally reconciled with his long-lost biological father, and in addition, he strengthens his position as In-hwan's successor at Joyland, by becoming a major stockholder himself, thanks to the generosity of his wealthy father, Peter Kang! Oh, I love happy endings!

I guess you could say that it's your typical ending. It just seems too predictable that things would end this way. Everyone usually ends up being happy at the end. Plus, it wouldn't be an proper ending without the birth or a child or having babies on the way...

Personally, I love happy endings and this one was just so good! The final week of OMR just had so many beautiful and memorable scenes! Episode 170, with the strong emotional scenes btw Min-jae and Grandma Han where she finally put her arms around him, and appeared to have tearfully apologized for all the bad things she did to him over the years! I must have replayed that scene on VOD a hundred times...I was getting teary eyed myself!

Need some questions answered from those in the know.
Since HR's father donates a kidney (supposedly for a better karma) and Twisted Sister's (aka EA) business partner (guessing he holds the shares she needs to overthrow Joyland mangement) are in the same hospital, is he the one getting the kidney transplant?
If so, does he find out who donated the kidney and in gratitude votes against EA's plans? This would make HR's father a hero to OH's and all would be forgiven.
Also, is this man MJ's real father? I understand MJ refused to talk to him when he called.

Oh my! Kidney for sale Price- Shares to Joyland What a kick in the old Chanel suit for the evil one (throw salt after her). Busted by the man who killed her sister. This would be just too good to be true. Say it isn't so.

From ittybittykitty's response in Can't Wait...thread
Sorry to have to tell you but In-hwan paid Kang to leave Soon-Young and also to give up his son MJ. This is where the story really gets interesting. You'll probably see this come to light tonite when Kang and MJ meet again.
