She does have a lot of sewing stuff, but it seems to be over by her mattress. It does seem odd to me that the mattress is always out--other shows I've seen where the elders sleep on the floor, they put the bedclothes, including the mattress, up in that big cupboard during the day, so when people walk in, it's just a big, empty room where you can plop down on the floor. Maybe the fact she has the mattress out is to remind us she's a lazy butt! Bo

Caffe Aglio, the Italian restaurant where Ki-soo and Soon-ok work, seems to have this semi-private corner dining area where we see our lead characters have a tete-a-tete, i.e. Hyun-kyu and Hye-ran, Min-jae and Yu-jin, etc. And there's music that's piped in throughout the restaurant, usually Western classical music or select operatic pieces. We know Koreans have a great appreciation for classical music and opera (judging from the tenors and sopranos that appear on my K-station music programming), therefore I wonder if Caffe Aglio was modeled after, or possibly is a real Italian restaurant (Italian cuisine apparently being the current trend as evident from my Korean clients who inquire about Italian/Mediterranean restaurants when they're in town) in Seoul?

Never heard of an Italian resturant serving Kimichi, doesn't HR's mom prepare it for the cafe? Is that served over pasta?
