You know, I did always wonder why MJ was allowed to go live with his mom and her new husband, given how revered male children are in the Korean culture. Look at how little Mi-Joo's dad reacted to her living with a step dad and she's a girl! I guess maybe it has to do with the kind of cold, cruel man he supposedly was but you'd think that would make him even meaner and that he would've kept MJ just out of spite. It will certainly be interesting if MJ's biological dad shows up at some point.

Personally, I think SPOILERS for OMR, if written the right way, are great because they help fill in a lot of missing pieces to this story's past, and thus make the present storyline easier to understand....Without them, I would often feel like an archeologist digging through the ruins of some little known ancient city, or a police detective trying to piece together the clues at a crime scene........

Eaglestorm, what exactly do you mean by "spoilers"? I'm intrigued.

Eaglestorm, what exactly do you mean by "spoilers"? I'm intrigued. Well...the definition of SPOILERS is "details from episodes not yet seen here in the area represented by this forum...in this case, Chicago. If someone posts details or scenes from eps. 157, for example, that would constitute a SPOILER since Chicago is only up to eps. 134...(The best place to see SPOILERS, I think, would be on Theresa Landis' K-drama group based in Philly! They are a nice bunch of people!)..Of course, if you access soompi.com or KBS, you can see the most recent episodes from Korea, usually a day after they are televised.(no english subs though....)..(eps. 163 is the latest for OMR this week....) but right now, only eps. 162 is available for viewing....and of course, there are the OMR synopses available from the KBS English site which give highlights.....I have already accessed that info and I can honestly say, this drama has me on the edge of my seat....I can't wait for next week! It should all be very interesting!

Oh, OK. I thought you meant something else because of how you said that spoilers could fill in the missing pieces of the story's past. I can see how things that are going to happen in future episodes would explain stuff that happened in the story's past, but for me, the point of watching is to find out for myself, not observe current plot twists in the light of things we haven't been shown yet. So I don't go to those other sites where they give things away.

Having seen the "future", I found astounding the scenes when the "witnesses" start revealing even more details...about things that have happened in the past or making bombshell allegations....Whew! Not even YH was this good!
