Man! Doesn't Hye Ran look so attractive in her part time jobs? (btw, I thought I heard her say "arbeit"; I know Japanese use the German word to mean part-time job, didn't know Koreans did too! . If she was my newspaper carrier, man I'd subscribe to all morning, afternoon, evening, and Sunday editions just to have her stop by in her cute baseball hat (instead of the money-hungry sassy brats who currently cover my 'hood ). And what about her as a fastfood worker? I'd do office lunch runs and order happy meals for all 200 of my co-workers just to have HER personally take my order. ;D

Hey Jacques, I didn't know you had a thing for Hye-Ran! I gotta say, it feels weird, amidst all the Minjae/Hyunkyu fantasizing, to see someone actually fantasize about a female character in this show.

Hey any character on OMR is fair game for fantasy, even RH aka EA aka HRH aka Myung-Joo, lol!! Although admittedly THAT would constitute some sick fantasy, set in Amsterdam perhaps ;D

hey, i've never looked at her that way before, but aunt myung joo IS good looking! i've always been too busy hating her to notice. and i know this is off topic, kinda, but i recently read in a website that the actor playing minjae was born in 1966. (a lot older than i thought he is). and the girl playing Hyeran was born 1980 (omg...). But the biggest shocker to me was that the woman playing minjae's mother was born in 1962! (WAY younger than i thought!) I thought this was so funny! minjae and his mom are four years apart!

Only in dramaland! btw, RH aka EA aka Myung-Joo is attractive, in a deadly coral snake kind of way.

i recently read in a website that the actor playing minjae was born in 1966....the biggest shocker to me was that the woman playing minjae's mother was born in 1962! Hai-yah! That's quite a trick, having your son when you are four. Sort of like Jessie Royce Landis playing Cary Grant's mother in "North by Northwest" (they were the same age) or Mel Gibson's 'mom' Glenn Close in "Hamlet" (she was 9 years older than him). Women have it so hard... Bo

By the way, Jacques, thank you for contributing a needed and refreshing dose of male perspective. There was some talk among the fellas here a few months ago about how pretty Hye-ran is, but you missed it and they all seem to have gone underground.

There was some talk among the fellas here a few months ago about how pretty Hye-ran is, but you missed it and they all seem to have gone underground. Gone underground?! U mean there is a Hye-Ran male fan club lurking somewhere underneath these msg boards (or in the caves of Busan), lol?!! About Hye-Ran. She definitely has the Asian "look" of the moment (yes, there is such a thing). That mango-shaped, semi-aquiline nose, pomegranate (or should that be persimmon ;D) lips, and those Indian eyebrows nicked right off a Buddhist cave painting. Just try compare her with the other actresses on the deluge of Korean modern dramas (not to mention Hong Kong, Taiwanese, mainland-Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese cinema) hitting the airwaves, and you'll get my drift. As for Min Jae, even my 60-something Asian aunt has the hots for him! So if you guys don't want to be on the waiting list, simply take a flight to Seoul or Singapore. As a matter of fact, I have a cousin in Singapore....lol ;D

Oh, I think *I* could get some fire of my own going with Min-jae. Maybe I'd throw chocolate sauce on him rather than whisky, though. (narrowing my eyes and growling, 'Rrowwr . . . . .')

I read somewhere that HR was Miss Korea in 2000! That would explain her good looks.
